Just some thoughts today....
What is it about "stealing" that the socialists don't understand? Or is it that they do understand perfectly well, but don't give a whit for the moral principle of not "stealing?" I can't think of any religion that promotes stealing. I can think of no moral tenets, religious or otherwise, that promote stealing. So Obama not only is the Liar (bearing false witness) in Chief, but is also the Commander in Thief. He was quite obvious about this. It isn't any big surprise, actually. He told us flat out that he was a thief when he spoke with Joe the Plumber. (God bless that Joe Wurzelbacher by the way. God gave him the moment and the strength to ask the question...and God used him for getting His warning to us. And God has such a great sense of humor, He used a guy who unclogs the sewer pipes! You know.....gets the s^&$# out of the pathway. I love God.) But some citizens who claim to be moral missed the message. Or didn't care.
So here we are these many months later and Obama has lied and thieved and bribed and turned our White House into the Chicago Mob Authority. Who knew? Some of us knew.
Simplicity is God's way. Confusion and chaos are the methods of the devil.
Next thoughts:
1. Term limits may seem like an answer to get corrupt career politicians out of office. But wait a second there, genius. Have you ever heard of "throwing the baby out with the bathwater?" Term limits would also rob us of the few great Constitutional congressmen and women who are in the fight to save our nation. We have "term limits." It's called "elections."
2. Amnesty will bring into our nation's electorate people who don't care or understand our Constitution. Amnesty will bring in people who are looking for a free ride to entitlements and handouts. Amnesty will bring in people who want the goodies that honest Americans have worked to pay for. Amnesty is Obama's trump card to create votes for socialism for infinity. We can't allow this.
3. The States are the answer to throw off Obama's Federal take-over of all of our lives. The States can fight back with the 10th amendment. The States can refuse Federal mandates by virtue of balanced budget statutes in the State's governments. If the Federal government is destroying the fiscal viability of the States, the States have the right to fight back and not accept the mandates. The Federal government does not trump States rights in all cases. The Health Care take-over is going to keep lawyers and judges busy for a damn long time.
4. Obama has handed Federal authority to unelected Czars to regulate everything from our light bulbs to our choice in doctors. This cannot stand. Unelected Czars are totalitarians who don't believe in individual rights. Obama doesn't believe in individual rights.
5. We can fight back. We can push back. We can get rid of these people through elections. We can take the country back. We can get rid of entitlements that are bankrupting the United States. We can refuse to comply. We are going to win back our country with time, effort, energy, and putting our money where our mouths are.
6. Our founders and our fathers fought to keep us free from foreign enemies. Now it is our turn to fight to keep us free from domestic enemies. We cannot fail in this.
Take a few minutes or an hour of your day today to research and find candidates who have the courage to save our Constitution. When you find them.....give them your support.
Man the lifeboats and row for the shore.......the shore being our God given blessings and responsibilities to save our country.

OBAMA'S HEALTH CARE NIGHTMARE

My, WWII vet, Dad passed away Tuesday morning at the age of 92. I was very proud of him and we miss him sorely. As I reflect on his life and his generation, I am so sick of the disease that is ruining the freedom he fought to keep for us. The enemy is within our borders and occupying our White House and Congress. We will have to rid ourselves of it or continue to experience the death of our America. Our freedom was bought and paid for by the blood of our forefathers. After the war, my Dad had a good life and enjoyed the shining city on the hill. But he didn't join in the fight as a young man just to see it squandered by unAmerican politicians who have infiltrated our government.
The words above by Robert Reich are exactly what is planned for America by Obama. My Dad would have died from a melanoma on his head at the age of 72 if Obama's nightmare had been enacted 20 years ago. You see, in Robert Reichland and Obamaland, 72 is very old. I don't know what more anyone would need to see the truth of what Obama is doing. And I wonder what the last 20 years of my Dad's life was worth if reducing costs is the only criteria for life.

FROM EUGENICS TO CLIMATE GATE TO HEALTH CARE - HOW GOVERNMENT CORRUPTS SCIENCE
There is little more dangerous than science in the hands of corrupt and evil people. Examples in history abound. One especially egregious example that comes to mind is genetic manipulation called Eugenics. Eugenics is the study and practice of selective breeding applied to humans, with the aim of improving the species. This science was embraced by Theodore Roosevelt and Adolf Hitler, both government officials who thought manipulation of the human race was desirable to obtain a more "perfect" world. The science of genetics transformed into eugenics and was thought to be the new wave of the future, creating a superior genetic set of humans and ridding the world of inferior humans. It was very popular during a world wide time of upheaval and "change." You would think this idea has disappeared into the bin with the tyrannical, maniacal, social manipulators of the past. You would be wrong. As you read on, you might find that the excuses for eugenics sound very familiar to the arguments today to enact health care, cap and trade, and nearly all of Obama's policies.

Both flawed theories with similar goals, i.e. reducing the population and ridding the world of those supposed wasteful, ignorant, and unwanted humans. At the same time, public policies today are supposedly rewarding the poor and the disenfranchised in the name of redistributing the wealth. The facts don't support that with unemployment figures high and rising and the poor remaining poor, but nevertheless, the official line is that the government is redistributing to those in need. Meanwhile, Wall Street is getting richer, politicians are getting more corrupt, and the misinformation business is flourishing.
Should you think I am stretching credibility by connecting eugenics to the environmentalist's zealotry, there is evidence to show that eugenics is alive and well today. From: John Glad,who is a retired professor of Russian studies, having taught at Rutgers University, the University of Chicago, the University of Iowa, and the University of Maryland. He is also the former Director of the Kennan Institute for Advanced Russian Studies in the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, in Washington, D.C. A Guggenheim grant recipient, he is the author, editor, or translator of twenty books, some of which have been honored in the American Book Awards. Future Human Evolution is part of his long-standing work on behalf of human rights, in this case of future generations.
In his book," Future Human Evolution," he says this: "Eugenics views itself as the fourth leg of the chair of civilization, the other three being a) a thrifty expenditure of natural resources, b) mitigation of environmental pollution, and c) maintenance of a human population not exceeding the planet’s carrying capacity. Eugenics, which can be thought of as human ecology, is thus part and parcel of the environmental movement."
Professor Glad's statement is warning us that eugenics is very much in vogue with Progressives today.
So lets take a look at some examples of Obama's policy decisions that fit into the eugenics model.
One of Obama's first picks was John Holdren as Science Czar. Holdren cites his mentor as being one Harrison Brown who wrote a book, "The Challenge of Man's Future," 1954 and reprinted in 1984. In this book, Mr. Brown states: "Priorities for artificial insemination could be given to healthy women of high intelligence whose ancestors possessed no dangerous genetic defects. Conversely, priorities for abortions could be given to less intelligent persons of biologically unsound stock." Do you ever ask yourself why Obama and the leftists are beating the drum of abortion so loudly, why they continually promote pro-abortion policies, why they insist on including tax-funded abortions in the Health Care bills? Do you think they are pushing abortion to rid the world of the culturally elite, the politically connected, the wealthy? I don't think so. But it is a way to rid the world of the "riffraff," is it not? Legitimizing abortion is nothing more than a back door to eugenics. Planned Parenthood is not Crisis Pregnancy. One promotes abortions. One promotes adoption and/or care of the mother and child. Which one illustrates the policies of Socialist control of the population? Think about it.
Another of Obama's picks is Kevin Jennings, the "Safe School Czar." Jennings is a known homosexual whose entire focus is promoting homosexuality in the public schools, K -12. This is beyond tolerance, as Jennings himself says, "I don't want to be just tolerated, I want to be celebrated." O.K. fine, but do you ask yourself why on earth is homosexuality being promoted so enthusiastically by the Progressive left and our government? Again, it is population control. Suffice it to say that homosexuals cannot propagate without some heterosexual involvement. So what better tool to get the population down, but to create the celebration of homosexuality and discourage heterosexual propagation than this? This is more than letting people be what they are. This is behavioral manipulation. Children are very susceptible to behavioral reinforcement by adults. I'll let you think about that.
Another buddy of Obama's is Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, brother of Rahm Emanuel. This genius, Dr. Emanuel, has written a book called, "The Complete Lives System." Dr. Emanuel is front and center in the health care bills being considered in our congress. In his book he illustrates the cost effectiveness of limiting care of the very young and anyone over 50 as they are not productive enough contributors to the state. Eugenics anyone? Eliminate those who don't provide or cannot prove their monetary worth to the state. So Obama care cuts Medicare, cuts Medicaid, starves the poor and the aged of health care.
Now take a look at Obama's irrational adherence to Climate Change policies. His pick for Climate Czar is Carol Browner, who comes straight from Socialist International and its arm, Commission for a Sustainable World Society. The stated goal for that Commission is: "the developed world must reduce consumption and commit to binding and punitive limits on greenhouse gas emissions." Reducing the goods, services, transportation, and self-sufficient abilities of the world's population is another way of turning back to the dark ages. Now that we know the science on climate has been corrupted by government grants and unscrupulous scientists who were cashing in on lies, the premise of undoing the civilized, developed world is bunk. All this does is make life harder for everyone. Which is the ultimate goal of eugenics, to make the world seem too fragile to support a thriving population. This is top down destruction of the thriving middle class and hands over power to the political class, leaving nothing but a population of subordinates to support the government.
Obama, if he gets away with his health care, cap and trade, and financial initiatives, may well go down in history as our modern version of Mao, Lenin, Stalin, and Hitler. He is determined to control every micro action of every American, using corrupted science in an attempt to convince us that he is benevolently saving the world. This has been tried before and ended very badly.
Tyrannical governments have historically created rules to manipulate and control their populations. This is more the rule than the exception. The political class has always wrestled with what to do with the unwashed masses. The exception to that rule is the brilliance of the original U.S. Constitution which gave power to the governed over the government. The question remains, whether or not the governed are going to sit around on their thumbs and allow the government to use corruption to eliminate humans and human rights.

BLACK MARKET FOOD? Or GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS of FOOD? TAKE YOUR CHANCES

Some several years ago when my children were very young, I had an idea to go organic by buying direct from a local dairy farmer, thereby giving my children real milk straight from the cow, making my own butter and skimming the cream for our use at home. I remember visiting this small dairy farm with my two little children in tow and having an interesting chat with the very nice farmer. My children got to visit the cows and see the milking machines. The farmer, whose name I don't recall, warned me that our business with him was illicit. Being young and naive I was shocked to hear this since it never occurred to me that the government would be standing between me and the ability to buy 'real' milk. He told me he was only allowed to market his milk to certified milk wholesalers who would take it to processing plants. However, he must have liked my idea of treating my family to the "real" thing, so he allowed me to buy some bottles of milk from him...only he reminded me to keep this to ourselves and that I should not pass the word around that he was allowing me to buy from him. Good Lord, I thought to myself, this is like buying uzis on the black market from the underground. It's only milk. Real milk from real cows. What could be sooooo bad in that? I had to take my own containers, which I did. He told me his family consumed the milk in the raw form for generations and had no ill effects from doing this. He stood behind his product. And for some reason, I was not at all worried that my family was going to die from some terrible disease contracted from real cows' milk. You see, when I was young and growing up, my family bought home-made bread and real butter from a local farm woman and it was the most delicious experience! I never forgot that and wanted to recreate some similar experience for my children.
We continued to buy from this farmer for several months, when one day we went there and he told me he was worried he should not continue to sell to me for fear of some jack-booted thugs taking his farm from him for doing this. The government had somehow put the fear of retribution in him and he acquiesced. He was very nice and I did not want him to suffer some terribly ill-conceived consequence for our indulgence, so I said thank you for the wonderful experience and wished him future success. Off we went and I never had the opportunity again.
Flash forward to the complicated world we live in today created for us by busy-body politicians who portray themselves as the saviors of humanity. I am reminded of a quote by Albert Camus: "The welfare of humanity is always the alibi of tyrants." I am also reminded of another adage: "The road to hell is paved with good intentions." That is, if you actually attribute any lofty "good intentions" to politicians, which I don't.
I urge you to research the implications being imposed by the "Food Safety Enhancement Act," already passed in the House (HR 2749), but still pending in the Senate.

"Some of the disconcerting and dire provisions within the bill include:
- HR 2749 will require the mandatory imposition of annual registration fees in the amount of $500 upon any "facility" that holds, processes, or manufactures food. Even though "farms" are exempt, the bill's definition of "farm" is so scarcely defined that folks selling cheeses, breads, and other products from their farms or at the farmers market would be required to pay this fee, potentially driving many small producers and start-ups out of business, especially during tough times.
- HR 2749 will give FDA the power to directly regulate the methods by which crops are raised and harvested, essentially handing complete and total control of every farming operation to the federal government.
- HR 2749 will give FDA the power to halt the movement of all food in a particular geographic area in the event of a food contamination scare or outbreak. The provision directly includes "prohibiting or restricting the movement of food or of any vehicle being used or that has been used to transport or hold such food within the geographic area", effectively shutting down any and all local food sources, farmers markets, or cooperatives within that area, even if their products have no connection to the actual contamination source.
- HR 2749 will give limitless power to FDA to conduct random searches of the business records of small farmers and local food providers without a warrant or even the slightest hint of evidence that there has been any sort of violation. It essentially allows clear passage by the federal government into the private records of its choice with no requirement of probable cause or legitimate reason for doing so.
- HR 2749 will appoint the Secretary of Health and Human Services as the taskmaster in establishing a food tracing system that will require an extensive, convoluted system of tracking each item and ingredient from origin to distribution. Because the bill fails to outline the logistical procedures for how this complex task will be accomplished and how it will be paid for, it once again hands an unprecedented amount of power over to the federal government to control and tax as it sees fit in order to accomplish whatever arbitrary requirements it wishes to inflict upon our farmers and food producers.

Well, thank God that farmer is not going to be prosecuted for selling me that wonderful, wholesome, purely unadulterated, raw, real milk. I hate to think what punishment he would be facing today.
Some anecdotal reinforcement I can relate to you lies in the "Mad Cow" fears that were rampant not that long ago. The USDA and the FDA, under pressure from the industrial meat producing industries allowed slaughterhouse waste to be included in the feeding of livestock.

"Researchers have long shown that blood can transmit mad cow type diseases, yet under the 1997 labeling regulations massive amounts of cattle blood are today being fed to calves in milk replacer, calf starter and feed supplements. Government and industry sources are telling reporters that it is safe to feed cattle blood to calves and cattle, yet Dr. Stanley Prusiner, the Nobel-prize wining mad cow researcher, says that feeding cattle blood to calves is "stupid."
Why was cattle blood exempted from the 1997 FDA regulation? The politically powerful dairy industry wanted cheap blood protein in milk formula for weaning calves. The 1997 FDA regulations were written for industry, not to protect human or animal health.
Also, under the 1997 FDA regulations, all parts of cattle are rendered and fed to pigs and poultry, which are rendered and all parts are fed back to themselves and to cattle. This feeding loop can spread and amplify mad cow disease, and even create and spread new, never before seen, strains of the disease."
In 2003 the USDA finally removed the livestock waste of "downer" cattle from the human food supply. Six years between the 1997 report and the 2006 action. Meanwhile, today we have more interference from the DC politicians in our food supplies removing us even further from the independent and small producers and forcing the food supply production into the hands of large conglomerates who may easily pay fines rather than change their methods. However we are still fighting the problem by a circular feeding loop whereby poultry litter is being used as cattle feed, poultry being fed by cattle waste, and the circle creates diseases and unsafe food.

"According to Consumers Union, in addition to the mix of feathers and feces, poultry litter can contain "disease-causing bacteria, antibiotics, toxic heavy metals, restricted feed ingredients including meat and bone meal from dead cattle, and even foreign objects such as dead rodents, rocks, nails and glass."
Just a question: Was I safer buying milk from a local small dairy farm or buying beef from the huge industrial food complex and lobbies that manipulate the FDA and the politicians? Food distribution has become one of those monsters, 'too big to fail?' George Soros has bought up a large portion of Conagra recently. Do you suppose George Soros gives a Nazi's damn about the safety of the food supply? Or do you suppose George Soros cares about making more billions on the slavery of millions of consumers? Gee...let me think about that.

BIO FUELS ARE WORSE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT - GREEN HELL
I wonder....should we tell the greenies what kind of hell they are producing? You know....those people who are indoctrinating our children about how fossil fuels are killing the planet and how Mommy and Daddy are very bad people for driving their mini-van in the carpool to school. Let's see..if a rainforest is decimated by idiots, does a person with a brain get to sentence them to life in the sahara without water. It's kind of like getting a hair cut. If it turns out badly, you can't have the barber put it back. The damage these idiots are doing to the planet in the name of "saving the planet" is enough to make me want to punish them severely....maybe 1000 years in the clinker, tie them up to one of those blades on the damn windmills for 100 years, or maybe stick them in a small room with a thousand broken compact fluorescent light bulbs. The problem is, you can lead an idiot to the truth, but you can't make them understand it.
So, today, after the last few months of revelations of fraud in the "Global Warming / Climate Change" scam, now we have the Brits explaining how bio-fuels are so much worse for the planet than fossil fuels. They have also found that prior studies on this were faked, twisted, manipulated, and generally full fledged lies in order to prop up the bio-fuel businesses. Gee...do ya think? How does that translate to Al Gore and his cute little carbon trading investments? I'll let you figure that out.

"Most companies met part of their biofuel obligation by buying palm oil, one of the cheapest fuels but potentially the most damaging to the environment because of the carbon released when forest is burnt down to create plantations. Expansion of the industry has made Indonesia the third-largest CO2 emitter after China and the US. A litre of palm oil produced on land converted from Indonesian forest produces roughly three times as much CO2 as ordinary diesel."

"Clearing rainforest for biofuel plantations releases carbon stored in trees and soil. It takes up to 840 years for a palm oil plantation to soak up the carbon emitted when the rainforest it replaced was burnt. Biofuels are worse for the environment than fossil fuels.
News flash: Your SUV is not to blame for a fictional global disaster. But the environmentalistas are to blame for some very real environmental disasters. There has to be some Freudian psychology behind this, but there isn't an insane-asylum big enough to house this many idiots.
