THE WITS' END

Dear Readers,

Some years ago, when I started this blog, I had arrived at a conclusion that the Federal government was completely off the rails.  Over the years, as I looked at the local and state policies going on around me, I decided one approach would be to get locally elected officials to hold the line against the Federal policies.  All politics being local, I thought this may be the best way for each of us to fight back and retrieve our government.  Now, after scrutinizing the local budgets, going to meetings of councils, commissioners, MPOs, COGs, etc., I have come full circle in my assessment that the Federal government is the driver of all that has run amok.  BUT, I have to say I believe the local political cast of characters, both elected and unelected, is also to blame for buying into the Federal scams.  (Most, not all.)  So I've decided it is all levels of government scheming against the private sector, with yet another caveat thrown in.... that the larger corporate factions of the private sector have jumped into bed with all of the levels of government to scheme against the taxpayers right along with the big government types.  There is no end to the co-mingling of corruption and collusion.

So...round and round it goes and where it stops, nobody knows.

I have decided to take a break from writing my blog for a few weeks, possibly the rest of the summer.  We'll see if I can actually do that.  Last time I tried to take a break, I ended up back in the fray fairly quickly.  Chasing down all of the rabbit holes and finding they all lead to the same place has made me very tired.  I've neglected my personal life too much in order to expose the cancerous corruption that ails our nation.  Plus, I believe there are other writers out there doing a superb job of keeping up with the myriad of political disasters.  My solutions are your solutions, i.e. get involved where you can, protect yourself as you can, and continue to spread the word.  The entire world has caught fire since I started this blog. Every day is filled with outrage after outrage committed by government and those in on the take with government.  So many issues have caught fire that this lady cannot keep up with all of them.

I am going to continue to work with my local Tea Party and network with friends statewide who are voicing their opinions as well as working with campaigns to replace corrupt politicians.  From Common Core to immigration, to sending arms to enemies in the middle east, to financial manipulation by the Fed,  to being taxed to death from all levels, to regulations that are killing everything around us, to NSA spying, to Agenda 21, to gun control, to toll roads, high speed rail, and mass transit, subsidized everything, infiltration of Islamic enemies into our government, to ACA-health care, utility metering for rationing.....

Seriously, I have to take a break.
One last shot at a couple of things.....
#1.From what I know,  I believe Mr. Snowden has only revealed what the public should have known all along and that which some people already knew.  He should not be pursued by our government for espionage.  He should be regarded as a patriot.  Without knowing where his story is leading, right now I nominate him for a Patrick Henry award.

#2.The immigration bill is another nail in the coffin of what used to be the United States of America.  If the Corker amendment passes later today, which I hear it will, this nation is no longer the America we love.  Between this, Obamacare, Dodd Frank, the continuing strangulation of energy industries,  spying on all of us, etc. we are seeing exactly what this POTUS wanted to see, the complete and utter destruction of our nation as we knew it.  We have crossed the Rubicon and there is no returning without Divine intervention.

Have a great summer if you can....I'll jump in now and then, will keep reading my friends' sites, and I hope you will use my side bar for any info you want.
Cheryl

Follow up note...
The amendment passed, so for your reading pleasure I leave you with this Breitbart article about where they are spending the money they are stealing from you, your children, and your grand-children. You can barely afford a car or education for your own children, but Bernie Sanders has made sure that you will pay for some other person's personal vehicle. I guess that we are paying billions for mass transportation isn't good enough for Mr. Sanders.  Before you know it there will be a Prius or Volt in every garage.   Car handouts for kids

Breitbart News has learned there is a provision included in the immigration bill that could be used to give free cars, motorcycles, scooters or other vehicles to young people around the country over a period of 15 months after the bill passes.  The new provision is a result of the latest addition to the Corker-Hoeven amendment, which is essentially an entirely new version of the bill.

The Washington Examiner’s Byron York uncovered the new Obama stimulus program that Gang of Eight members and other Senate Republicans inserted into the bill as a sweetheart deal for liberal Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). The left leaning Senator was previously critical of the legislation.
“The original Gang bill ended with a section designated Title IV, which was headlined REFORMS TO NON-IMMIGRANT VISA PROGRAMS,” York wrote on Sunday. “The Hoeven-Corker version of the bill added a Title V, with the headline JOBS FOR YOUTH. The measure would provide $1.5 billion in the next two years to provide jobs for Americans between the ages of 16 and 24. It was originally pushed by Democratic Sen. Bernard Sanders, who wanted to come to the aid of young workers who were ‘hard hit by the Wall Street-caused recession.’ Now, Sanders says immigration reform will further damage youth job prospects.”
A provision under that new stimulus program title allows for the use of spending the taxpayer money on the program to provide transportation for youth to and from their jobs.
“(f) USE OF FUNDS.—
 (1) IN GENERAL.—The funds made available under this section shall be used—
 (A) to provide summer employment opportunities for low-income youth, with direct linkages to academic and occupational learning, and may be used to provide supportive services, such as transportation or child care, that is necessary to enable the participation of such youth in the opportunities;”
The total appropriation for this new stimulus program would be $1.5 billion that would be divvied up among states that applied for the money. According to the proposed statute as written, all the money would need to be spent in a year-and-three-months period.
“The amounts appropriated under this title shall be available for obligation by the Secretary of Labor until December 31, 2014, and shall be available for expenditure by grantees (including subgrantees) until September 30, 2015,” the part of the provision detailing how long the money would be available for reads.
A GOP senate aide told Breitbart News that for the country to be able to spend $1.5 billion on such a program so fast, it would need to buy, lease or rent motor vehicles  for beneficiaries of the new government handout. The provision that outlines how the money can be legally used for providing “supportive services” like “transportation,” the aide said, could easily be interpreted to mean the money could be spent buying or leasing or renting vehicles for the beneficiaries.
“This appears to give states authority to buy, lease or rent motorcycles, cars and scooters or anything kids want to buy to get to and from a job,” the GOP aide said.

POTUS WILL FORCE YOU TO BUY INDULGENCES - PERPETUATING THE MYTH OF CLIMATE CHANGE

In the Middle Ages the Catholic Church sold "indulgences" to their parishioners on the premise these indulgences would save their souls.  This indulgence system tried to put the Church directly between a Christian and Christ, the Church placing itself as the arbiter of eternal suffering.  The Catholic Church was a very powerful ruling elite in Europe at the time and, as with all power structures that get too big for their britches, this power structure became corrupt and led to the Protestant Reformation.  The greatest movement for Protestant Reformation came through the efforts of Martin Luther.  (I think it is no coincidence that Martin Luther King, a man who preached that individual character should matter most, was named after him.)

Somehow the United States government has been taken over by an elitist ruling class who wants to define your sins and force you to pay indulgences to this ruling class through taxation and regulation.  The first thing you need to know is that "we, the people" have not granted this kind of power to the ruling class in this nation. We are not supposed to have a "ruling class," because we are each sovereign individuals who are to rule ourselves.  The second thing you need to know is this ruling class is so greedy for your money that they are making up fictional sins just to feed their theft and fill their coffers.

The thought about indulgences has been coming to me gradually as I followed the writings of Michael Creighton regarding the use of environmentalism as a false religion...and on down to today when I witness the the ruling elite perpetrating mass guilt through propaganda.  There is nothing new under the sun.  The concept of indulgences has not gone away, but has continued to be used by political tyrants over the years. Cap and Trade is nothing more than a system of indulgences, meted out by a ruling elite, forcing everyone to pay for, in our modern day case, mythical sins.

Many of these evangelists attempt, not to explain the science, but to scare the population into believing, through dire warnings that we face some kind climatic Judgement Day. Indeed if they are to be believed then we are already seeing signs of judgement because of the sin of burning fossil fuels.
Floods, hurricanes, droughts and famine are all blamed on man-made climate change and more is to come if we don't clean up our act we are told. One would have thought, listening to the doom mongers, that such disasters had never happened in the history of mankind until some Pandora-like figure had the idea of burning the energy out of coal and oil.

Last year energy companies in Britain announced that they would be raising household energy bills, partly so that they could fund the government's climate change and social policies. In addition to paying this compulsory tithe to the church of climate change through their energy bills, sincere believers can also purchase an indulgence for every time they take a flight by paying extra to offset their carbon emissions.

While in Berlin last week, our illustrious POTUS announced that he will push hard to stop Global Warming.  Uh huh.  Someone needs to catch this guy up on facts.  Oh, but that wouldn't work because facts don't matter to a tyrant.  Power is what matters to a tyrant.  And Global Warming, falsehood that it is, provides another tool to steal from some and enrich the privileged others.  There, in Berlin, on a world stage with bought-off press reports, the POTUS manages to announce he is going to steal and pillage on the ruse of saving the planet?  His method of stealing involves indulgences that he plans to make you pay in order to live.  Your energy prices just "necessarily" skyrocketed.  You will be building his Church to Gaia, which frankly I don't think he cares about at all, but those who are paying for his ride want the money.  What POTUS wants is "reparations."  This just provides a tool for him to get what he wants...plus, the revenge he seeks against successful liberty in America.  None of this is about saving the planet.  All of it is about making the United States citizens pay indulgences for mythical past and / or current sins.

Reparations is not the word used any more for this...since those in power realized the American people weren't buying into that.  They don't use the word "indulgences" in society any more either, but I think that is the word we need to start throwing back at them.  Forced indulgences.  Pay up or else.

I googled a search for POTUS in Berlin on Climate Change...and a top spot came up for "Organizing for America" with a link to barackobama.com  The subtitle says this: "Hold climate deniers accountable: Join us and help Congress get real.‎"  Cute, no?

And if you think this guy means well, read this quote from his speech:
“With a global middle class consuming more energy every day, this must now be an effort of all nations, not just some.  For the grim alternative affects all nations – more severe storms, more famine and floods, new waves of refugees, coastlines that vanish, oceans that rise. This is the future we must avert,” Obama said.
“This is the global threat of our time.  And for the sake of future generations, our generation must move toward a global compact to confront a changing climate before it is too late. That is our job. That is our task. We have to get to work,” he said, according to a White House transcript.

Take that you horrible global middle class.  You better stop consuming energy.  He is hellbent on shutting you down.  Who does that leave?  The poor and the elite...no middle class.  That is the plan and you need to get that into your heads.  That is what rulers do...create a slave class to prop up the ruling class.

My question is:  Do we have to let this madness continue until we are all indentured slaves?  Or do we start the reformation all over again?  The reformation has begun.  Not the "transformation."  The Reformation.  Spread the word!

Some history for you here:
The sale of indulgences was a byproduct of the Crusades in the 12th and 13th centuries. Because they risked dying without the benefit of a priest to perform the appropriate ceremonies, Crusaders were promised immediate salvation if they died while fighting to "liberate" the Christian holy city at Jerusalem. Church leaders justified this by arguing that good works earned salvation, and making Jerusalem accessible to Christians was an example of a good work. Over time, Church leaders decided that paying money to support good works was just as good as performing good works, and it evened things up for people who were physically incapable of fighting a Crusade. Over several centuries, the practice expanded, and Church leaders justified it by arguing that they had inherited an unlimited amount of good works from Jesus, and the credit for these good works could be sold to believers in the form of indulgences. In other words, indulgences functioned like "confession insurance" against eternal damnation because, if you purchased an indulgence, then you wouldn't go to hell if you died suddenly or forgot to confess something.

A VIEW FROM GROUND LEVEL - JUST AS BAD HERE

It isn't just about Washington DC.  While people are focused on the swamp of corruption in DC, there are indications at the local level that show us so much about how our culture and government are devolving.  Yes, we see the huge scandals at the top, but if you look at your own local government, you'll find things are just as bad....maybe on a smaller scale, but just as bad.

We, my husband and I, went to our County Commissioner's (open to the public) budget meeting last night. Well, we tried to go.  When we got there, the parking lot was slammed so we parked across the street.  We raced into the building and stopped to go through the security check where my purse and my husband's pockets were searched.  Then we headed upstairs to the televised conference room and found the courthouse had to use two overflow rooms with tv screens to accommodate the crowd.   The two overflow rooms were already full with no more room for seats. The back wall in the main room was lined with police officers.  People were sitting out in the hallway with perplexed looks on their faces, wondering what to do.  We turned around, went back to our car, and came home to watch the meeting on television.

So why the crowd?   The pre-publicity from the County Manager was that the County was going to increase property taxes.  Our County already has the sixth highest property taxes in the State of North Carolina.  My expectation was that all or most of those people were cramming the courthouse to speak because they were going to object to more taxes.  Boy, was I in for a surprise!

At one point, during our breathless race to get in to this meeting, we were passed by one of the wealthier Republican big shots in town, dressed in a suit and acting as if he had a mission of great importance.  He is an elderly fellow who has made a fortune in business here, but has turned into a philanthropist.  He was given the nod and managed to get right in to the main room, while the rest of the masses were not given that kind of grace.  He didn't have to go through the same protocol as everyone else by signing up to speak.  He just walked in and everyone got out of the way.   When he got up to the mic to speak, he was shocked to find out he only had 3 minutes like everyone else. It looked as if he thought he could speak at will for as long as he wanted.  His speech was encouraging the Commissioners to pay their bills, raise taxes to do it, and by all means fund the schools with whatever necessary.  Mind you, this fellow has buckets of money.  Raising the tax rate is not going to hurt him much, if at all. As for Republican small government...hardly on his mind.

It turns out that every county employee was asked by their bosses to go to this budget meeting and plead for more money.  Out of an hour and a half worth of speakers who were given three minutes each to plead their case, only four (4) people were there to speak for NOT RAISING the taxes.  The bureaucracy had packed the meeting.  It was like an army of Oliver Twists showing up begging, "Please Sir, may I have some more??"  The majority of the speakers were from the County school system.  I wish you could have heard the teachers and principals.  Not one of them had a word to say about more education materials for the students.  Every one of them was pleading for a salary increase for themselves.  There was one person who spoke about deplorable conditions of some schools that need structural repairs and maintenance.  But even that person was interested in having her salary increased.  And mind you, this County voted to borrow bonds for schools not that long ago.  The bonds are for capitol projects, not salaries.  After the bonds passed, the County built a new high school that is a Taj Mahal high school, replete with all of the supposed "green" amenities.  I wondered about the priority, or lack thereof, for those older schools that need the repairs.  So far they haven't gotten the money.  BUT, we have a shiny new thingy to show off to visiting dignitaries, whoever they might be.

It wasn't just about the schools.  It was about fraud investigators for the welfare department.  It was about the libraries and the museums.  It was about the Sheriff's department.  It was about some non-profit who lives off of government programs.  It was about more more more.  Please give us more!!

My conclusion:  There is no chance in heck of shrinking the government.  We have gone beyond the tipping point.  When there are more government employees showing up at a budget meeting asking to raise taxes, so many more people than Joe and Jane Taxpayers, we are in big trouble.   The culture of dependency has arrived.  I believe that Washington DC created this culture, but evidently it is contagious.  The middle class taxpayers cannot continue to support this mentality.  We are going to implode.

An aside:  One in five people in our county is on food stamps.  The jobs went off shore with the textile and furniture industries.  What's left of the tax paying population is carrying the entire burden.

WE'RE ALL MAD HERE! TRACKING EVERYONE, EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE

"When the state has the capability to know everything except the difference between right and wrong, it won’t end well."  Mark Steyn
If you want to see just a tiny microcosm of what surveillance can do, you need not look any further than the State of North Carolina.  The State D.O.T. and some of the higher ranking legislators are trying their level best to push HOT Lanes (High Occupancy Traffic) into this state, using private public partnerships.  Part of the deal is allowing infrared tracking of the occupants of vehicles in order to enforce the high occupancy goal of 3+ passengers per vehicle.  The idea is that the 3+ passenger vehicle will be subsidized by the State of North Carolina for being such good global citizens, lowering their carbon footprint by carpooling.  After all, how can the State know who to subsidize if they don't track and identify the good cooperators?  The proposal also includes taxpayer backing of the private corporate entity who would manage the HOT Lanes, so in case it goes belly up, guess who is on the hook?
Call me mad, but I don't really feel all that great about having any government agency or public-private partnership hiring people and buying equipment to track how many people are riding in my car.  The planet isn't dying and even if it were, my car is not to blame for it.  My driving habits are not to blame for it, either.  Since the catalytic converter and other modern technologies, our cars are barely, if at all, emitting anything.  But don't tell that to the political class or the bureaucrats and corporations who want to cash in on that false premise.  They might take a hatchet to your tires if you dare expose the truth to them.   You also don't want to tell the political class that the taxpayers should NOT be on the hook for this scheme.  If you try telling them that you will see steam emanate from their ears and words from their mouths you would not want your wife, children, or grandmother to hear.  If only they would take up the fashion again of wearing powdered wigs, we could watch as those wigs would blow off their heads!
Gratefully, we have some energetic patriots who have worked tirelessly over the last few months to stop this mad Hot Lane scheme.  They have not yet been able to stop the State from putting this plan into action, but this past weekend they did manage to get opposition to it into the North Carolina Republican platform.  Some of the steam emitting pols who promote this scheme are Republicans, and trust me, they are not happy fellows.  Poor babies might lose whatever kickbacks or campaign donations if they don't force the HOT Lanes on the public. The issue is still in progress and looks to be a done deal from the PPP side of things.  Those pesky patriot citizens are just gnats that must be swatted away.
Meanwhile back at the local Council of Governments ~~  you know, those 'crats who took HUD money to manipulate our lives:    The deal with them is using infrared cameras to assess whose house or building is emitting greenhouse gas emissions and then bring the hammer down on those poor civilians who just didn't tighten the glazing on their windows well enough or who should tear out their drywall and put in more insulation.  Oh goody!  More hirelings using our tax dollars to check up on us.
Folks, it isn't just the NSA, or the IRS, or Verizon, or Google, or the EPA.  It's all of the above and many more... and they are moving in fast, into your life from all directions.  No, you didn't give them permission.  But such a little matter of the 4th Amendment isn't going to stop them now.  The debate is over...the 4th Amendment is dead.
Cheshire Cat: What do you call yourself?
Alice Kingsley: Alice.
Cheshire Cat: *The* Alice?
Alice Kingsley: There's been some debate about that.
Cheshire Cat: I never get involved in politics.

GOVERNMENT BY UNELECTED BUREAUCRACY

"No, Mr. Bureaucrat, I did not elect you and I did not give you power over my life."  "No, I didn't."  "You do not have that authority."  Try telling that to the IRS, the EPA, the NSA, or your local Council of Government for that matter.

What do you call a system of governance that is not republican government?  The red flags that kept waving in my face, beginning my odyssey into political activism, was the sudden and rapid march of local regulations and policies that seemed to come out of nowhere, enactments of things that had no resemblance to representative government that I had ever seen.  Maybe that is what happened to you?   The local council votes in some strange policy, you scratch your head, and you ask yourself....where in the heck did they get that idea?  Or.....what makes them think they can do that??

A friend of mine is a delegate at the State GOP Convention today. As the subject of Agenda 21 was scheduled for discussion, he called me to shoot him some information on NGO' s.  He was going to prepare a statement to deliver to the body of delegates. Glad to do it, I scrambled the info together for him, but the day was nearly through and the discussion was pushed off to tomorrow.  I'm headed over there tomorrow evening, by which time I hope and pray that the Anti-Agenda 21 Resolution will have passed ...with sharp teeth in it.

His request gave me the chance to re-read the Agenda 21 chapter on NGO's.  The instructions are concise and clear. It says quite plainly that the (every) national government is to include and enable non-governmental organizations into processes and funding.  Read that last sentence over again and let that sink in. The UN is telling member governments to empower NON-governmental organizations,  thereby going around the constitutional process of representative governing.  In some cases they are giving these NGO's taxing authority.  To sweeten the pot, the national (Federal) government creates grants for the NGO's to hire bureaucrats and to put regulations in place. It's like having thousands of little EPA's turned loose in every nook and cranny of the country. The obvious metaphor for this is how cancer cells multiply and spread throughout a body if unchecked. The only check available to the citizens is the elected officials, BUT...the NGO walks into the picture with briefcases of money to bribe otherwise broke localities. Instant caving takes place.  Money...big money...is not available if you don't play the game.  Money talks. Voters suddenly become invisible. Lies are thrown around like candy on Halloween.  The deviant plan succeeds in destroying Constitutional representation of the people. Bingo. Bango. Just like that.

It's not hard to imagine an civilian army of bureaucrats.  They have their orders and you will comply. Now we have an executive ruler in the White House who is giving himself and his army of bureaucrats the tools, paid for with our money, to spy on your every move.  Without provocation, mind you.  Just because he and they can. You don't have to imagine it anymore.  The day has arrived.  Give a bureaucrat that kind of power, and what do you have?  Nazi Germany?  Stalin's Soviet Russia?  Mao's Communist China?   All of the above, only on steroids due to the technological advances of today.

When I read the Agenda 21 chapter on NGO's again today I thought about how insulting this is to Americans. I'm insulted. Worse than that, I'm disgusted that any elected official in this country would sell out my rights and their duties on the basis of a UN scheme of world governance.  Or on the basis of some special interest NGO.  There are variations on this distorted governing including corporations and non-profits. It is sort of an "anything goes" platform, anything except republicanism

This NGO scheme is just one piece of Agenda 21 that takes away our sovereign rights. The entire thing from cover to cover is anti-American.  You can call it governance of some sort, but you can't make it seem American, or even close to it.  We didn't agree to this. It deviates 180 degrees from our Constitution.  This may sound silly, but as an American I react viscerally to this, by instinct it feels really wrong.

Know (and note) that I am not blaming the UN for what our government is doing to America.  But Agenda 21 is giving a global nod to all leadership of all nations to prosecute these abuses of all of their citizens. Actually, much more than a nod, but a prescription for doing so.  The Founders gave us a firewall against the sort of tyranny erupting in our nation. It's just that we have people determined to rip it down in what they think is a bloodless coup.  So far, that is working in their favor.  Rush Limbaugh is right.  This is a coup d'etat.

The deviance and deception of this UN madness has been going on for 20 years in the United States, since the Rio Earth Summit in 1992....through each U.S. President since and now.  This President has done more to destroy America than all of the others combined, but it's only a monster version of what we have seen coming down the track for years, incrementally and relentlessly.

Tomorrow North Carolinian Republicans have an opportunity to stand against Agenda 21. I hope they carry through. It would be a start....just a start. (Note...I didn't get this published last night...so tomorrow is now today.)

Stay tuned....

In case you don't go to the link provided for the NGO Chapter of Agenda 21 above, here is one paragraph that explains the connection of this surveillance state we are now seeing and Agenda 21:
g. Provide access for non-governmental organizations to accurate and timely data and information to promote the effectiveness of their programmes and activities and their roles in support of sustainable development.

WHAT'S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT? ~ CHILD ABUSE BY GOVERNMENT POLICY

The subject I am about to write about is X rated, so beware.  Oh...no, forget I said that...no one cares about those ratings anymore and no one cares if children are exposed to pornographic sex.  Heck, if you do care about such things, you can't even let your children watch the commercials on the nightly news. The age of innocence seems lost forever...at least in this lifetime.

The revelation of the cause of Michael Douglas' throat cancer in the last couple of days threw me into a case of nausea and cringing.  What Michael Douglas does with his mouth is disgusting anyway, considering the pandering to the gay community in his latest depiction of Liberace.  I guess you are considered a great actor if you can portray some unsavory person in a compassionate way.  That's the mark of great acting today, showing the supposed humanity in depraved people.  Betting he'll win an Oscar or an Emmy for that.  Not stopping there, Mr. Douglas then decides to share with the world that his throat cancer is caused by oral sex performed on someone....do we know who?  Not sure.  I stopped reading the reports shortly after the headlines.  Truly, I am sick of this constant normalizing of ...not just variations of sexual activity, but of everyone obsessed with discussing it ad infinitum.

I was told once that some men would (blank) mud to satisfy their urges.  And that was before Viagra...so heaven only knows how bad this urgency of satisfaction has gotten now.  Granting that the sex drive is part of being human (or animal of any sort), is this the major and main motivator of all human activity?  You would think so if you just landed on the planet and took a look at the culture.  I guess not having to forage for food and shelter has left humans with nothing else to do but ....well...you know what.  Love?  Not so much.  Sex!!  Yes...so much!!  Frankly, what Michael Douglas does with his mouth (or any other exuding body part) is a major turn off and I don't want to hear about it.  What happened to modesty and discretion?  So passé I guess.

Enter the the government health and education system!  Whoo Hoo...now we get to have government sanctioned sex!  And it covers EVERYTHING!!  Oh great!!   Not happy to be left out of the national orgy, the Federal government has decided that 10 year old children should be exposed to every manner of sexual activity known to mankind.  Why don't we just dumb down the Kamasutra for the elementary schools and let them have at it?  Or how about the Kinsey Reports....just put pornographic videos in front of 10 year old children and tell them, "Anything goes!!"  These are the same people shoving Common Core down the throats (excuse the pun) of all American school children.

Here is a brief Breitbart article describing the school program for these young, previously innocent children.  I've seen worse than this from the schools, if you can imagine what sort of booklets are handed out to potentially gay male students.  Isn't it nice of them to use my tax dollars (and yours) on wrecking the behaviors and sexual expectations of children?  This is child abuse, sexual abuse of children.  There is no other way to look at it.  I am very sad for children subjected to this...out of context and random encouragement of deviant sexual behaviors way before they are even close to being ready for any sexual relationship.

The Victorian reaction to syphilis was to (metaphorically and literally) draw back from promiscuity.  The dangers of rampant and illicit sexual activity were dire, to say the least.  The dangers are still around, but our culture has become mad with ignorance of health reasons for propriety.  In our society, the word "illicit" is divorced from sex. (Does anyone use that word anymore to describe anything?)  To subject children to this constant onslaught of promiscuous sexual activity is child abuse.  I can't think of any other words for it.

So much for romance and the innocence of discovery through love.  Silly me.  I know it won't happen, but this entire culture needs to take a cold shower.  Meanwhile, get your kids out of the public schools and, if you can,  protect them from the relentless inundation of inappropriate sexual behaviors in all of our culture.

CONFUSCIOUS SAY.......SAY WHAT YOU MEAN!

I have never been a class warfare kind of person.  Honestly, the whole script of envy left me when I was very young, thanks to parents who taught me how much of a waste of time and emotion that was. Not to mention the Biblical lessons on coveting.  I'm grateful for those lessons.  Not to say I don't admire this person or that person or what they may have acquired in possessions, but I don't spend my life dwelling on them.

Somehow, in America, the land of the free, our nation has created policies based on the politics of envy.  What do you think "social justice" is? Or "social equity?"  Or "economic diversity?" ---That's the one where the planners put low income subsidized housing in the middle of more affluent areas of town by force of regulations.   Notice the use of language in the policies.  Justice?  Equity?  Diversity, as if diversity is a goal of economics?

So let's say I am a politician and I want to appeal to a mass of lower income voters.  What would entice them to vote for me?  Oh, that's right!  I can appeal to their base instincts of envy. But I won't use the word "stealing." I'll use the word "fairness."  Yeah, that's the ticket!  I'll call this "justice."  People can't argue with "justice," now can they?  I'll call it "social justice" or "economic justice," and off we go to the races!!

Today someone shared an email with me that was from a 35 yr. old principal of a middle school here in North Carolina.  The email was a plea for money.  Was it for student materials?  Was it for classroom enhancements?  Was she pleading for meals for the poor students?  No.  She was asking for money so she could take a trip to Costa Rica with other administrators and teachers.  The excuse?  Because "Globalization is a key component of our instruction..."  And... "so the teachers can teach our stakeholders about others, and the way they live, learn, and work together."  She means "students," but she calls them "stakeholders."  My my, the jargon of Agenda 21 has become entrenched into a school principal's language, justifying her summer trip.  Oh, and by the way, she also plans to take a "zip line" tour of the rain forest while she is there.  She is asking others for $2500 to fund her trip.  Hmmm....just imagine the benefits to those little "stakeholders" when she returns from Costa Rica.  I can't think of any, but I'm sure she'll try to think of some....promising to improve some others lives by having you fund her summer trip.   I'm also sure she will get lots of gold stars from the upper echelon school bureaucrats for promoting globalism in her school.  Whoop Whoop!!   (I've been reminded today that this trip will also result in a business tax write off for the principal in question here..easily deducted from next year's income.  So others pay and she writes it off.  Just betting this must have something to do with "economic justice" somehow.)

Confuscious Say:  "It would certainly be to correct language. If language is not correct then what is said is not what is meant. If what is said is not what is meant, then what ought to be done remains undone. If this remains undone, then morals and acts deteriorate. If morals and acts deteriorate, justice will go astray. If justice goes astray, the people will stand about in helpless confusion. Hence, there must be no arbitrariness in what is said. This matters above everything."
