I am watching as you are, with great sadness, a civil war breaking out in Egypt. And I am wondering if Americans know what they wrought when they elected Barack Hussein Obama.
If you are thinking the uprising of the last few days was about a poor bunch of Egyptians who just want freedom and prosperity, you would be uninformed and delusional. There is far more at stake than that and our complicity in the matter is beyond despicable.
If you are reading Obama's and the leftists' ideology on "Multiculturalism" as a kindly, open, inclusive embrace of peoples who just want to live and let live, you would be sorely mistaken. And you would have been ignoring his connections to dangerous enemies of the United States. If you think he is just "standing by" while waiting to see what happens in Egypt, you would be missing both the steps he took to create this debacle and the steps he is taking now to replace Mubarak with El Baradai, the pro-Iranian United Nations nuclear 'expert,' who has aligned himself with the Muslim Brotherhood.
The globalists and the United Nations, with the election of Barack Obama, have shifted American foreign policies toward world chaos and, more specifically, the domino downfall of a secular Middle East. We are now looking at the likely outcome of a "caliphate," a Muslim theocracy, emerging in an entire region of the world. Here at home we are reliving the nightmare of a Jimmy Carter presidency redux, on steroids. The tragedy is palpable.
Connecting the dots:
"Now Egypt, the keystone of American policy in the Middle East, has become unstable. Obama has no choice but to take controversial and high-risk action of some sort. Apparently, he has chosen to go with the “Don’t Fear the Brotherhood” crowd. In other words, when push comes to shove, Obama goes with the dovish multiculturalism that is his default political stance. If the administration sticks with this policy, it will mean the return of foreign policy as a major partisan dividing line in American politics. Had Obama kept the Muslim Brotherhood out, or had he at least visibly tried to do so, he might have avoided a campaign battle over “Who lost Egypt?” But having moved so visibly and so early to bring the Muslim Brotherhood in, Obama may soon be facing a return of the classic right/left battle lines over foreign policy."
Western Intelligence and the Rise of the Muslim Brotherhood by Jack Blood Discussion at this link is regarding what the United States did to take down the Shah of Iran.
"Khomeini’s rise to power in Iran was a major victory for the Muslim Brotherhood that stood behind him, and Western intelligence had made no small contribution to that victory. Make no mistake, Western intelligence helped make the Muslim Brotherhood what it is today. When looking for someone to blame for the rise of radical Islam, the accusatory finger must be pointed at those in whom Americans have placed their trust. "
The Left's Perilous Embrace of Radical Islam
"For the left there is just one overpowering consideration. After the collapse of communism, radical Islam appears to be the only power capable of defeating capitalism and the hated United States as the last obstacle on the road to socialist utopia."
"For the left there is just one overpowering consideration. After the collapse of communism, radical Islam appears to be the only power capable of defeating capitalism and the hated United States as the last obstacle on the road to socialist utopia."
"The lesson is clear. Beware of the Useful Idiots who live in liberal democracies. Knowingly or unknowingly, they serve as the greatest volunteer and effective soldiers of Islam. They pave the way for the advancement of Islam and they will assuredly be among the very first victims of Islam as soon as it assumes power."
Obama's Friends Bring Chaos to Streets of the Middle East - Article from Jan. 1, 2010 - Worth Reading
From a Different Article At SodaHead "Barack Obama’s friends Code Pink, Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, among others, have been fomenting for revolution on trips in and out of Egypt for more than a year. Only Kristinn Taylor and Andrea Shea King at biggovernment.com have bothered to write about it."
As we watch the ensuing collapse of the peace with Israel, the tragic end to a secular Egypt, the entire Middle East falling into the hands of the Muslim Brotherhood, take a look at how American Leftists / Liberals have created this insanity and ask yourself if you wish to align yourself with political groups who have brought this about. If you think it can't happen here, just keep your head in the sand and expect a camel to come along and kick you right in the butt.
(aside: I know an Obama voter who proudly claims herself as a "sheep." I know another Obama voter who, in some misguided effort to be inclusive, proclaims Muslims as just moderate kind and gentle folks. I cannot tell you how disappointing and sad that is, that someone with the blessed fortune of being born in America and living the life of all that entails, that these persons are so unthinking as to follow the path of destruction of not just our country, but the world we live in. And today, Egypt is in civil war thanks to the Islamic and American support of one Barack Hussein Obama.....just as Iran went, so goes Egypt.)
Wow! Great job of connecting the dots and some great links. The left are like sheep being led to slaughter. The only English language news I get down here is CNN International. For days I've listened to the commentators almost praising the Muslim Brotherhood as the saviors of the Egyptian people. Today, however, they had an Egyptian CNN correspondent from their bureau in Great Briton on the program. He had a very different slant on what is going to happen. He believes the military is promoting the chaos (started by others) and it is they who will step in to bring back order. He claims that the military is already purging civilians from the government and they will most likely sacrifice Mubarak as well. This correspondent predicts that there will another strong man military government for the next 30 years. I don't know if this guy knows what he is talking about, but he was very convincing. For the sake of America and the world, I hope he is right. If he is right, our President is going to have a lot of egg on his face.
ReplyDeleteWill America and the rest of the world ever wake-up to the threat of Islam?
Hi Jim,
ReplyDeleteI wonder if that correspondent is correct. It would seem that the Egyptian military would have a pro-western view, since they have been financed nearly all with American money. We can hope that would be a somewhat better outcome....I'm doubting it. Also, we know what happens when we arm supposed allies and then the arms we provided end up in the hands of enemies. I am watching the events unfold with great concern. Just as an observer from a distance, it does truly look to me as if we are witnessing a rebirth of the Ottoman Empire, a Muslim Caliphate taking over the entire middle east. I think our own "dear leader" has facilitated this eruption, being very much the Muslim sympathizer due to his father. Do we expect the middle east to have respect for the United States when our president has continually expressed apologies, practically on his knees, before them?
This revolution is orchestrated and urged on by socialists in our midst. I'm sure it is part of the global elites plan for restructuring the world. We've seen what happens when "democracy" lies in the hands of mullahs. It doesn't look good to me. And what of Israel...I hate to think of the consequences.
If, as we know, Jimmy Carter got it wrong, what would make anyone here think Obama is getting it any differently wrong.
All we can do is watch and worry...
