The above article is one of the most comprehensive descriptions of what the UN Agenda 21 and Global Government is doing to undermine the principles of liberty and to take down America. Right now there are so many operatives of this agenda in our government that I am not at all sure what it will take to rid ourselves of them. Nothing that is happening is a coincidence. Crises are being orchestrated and manipulated to hand over more power to the Social engineers of Globalism. (Climate Change? Look for Smart Meters at your house soon.)

Local politicians in America are being sucked into the "Smart Growth" policies of the UN. Looking for handouts of Federal money has become the mantra of mayors and city councils. Those handouts come with strings attached. It's called "control." Our local politicians are throwing away our rights and our autonomy, granted to us by God and in the U.S. Constitution. They are doing it to get money for stupid things. A NASCAR Museum. A Teapot Museum. A Whitewater Park. Greenways. Parks. Facades on Main Streets for failing businesses. Meanwhile crying about not enough money for roads, bridges, schools, etc. Let them eat cake? Roman circuses?

The riots in Greece are a harbinger of what is coming to America. Immigrants with no allegiance to our country looking for handouts and free everything....happened in Greece. Unfunded social programs that are bankrupting the country...happened in Greece. Labor Unions demanding Social Justice....happened in Greece. Devaluation of the currency....coming soon here, happened in Greece. (i.e. the Euro) Cap and Trade and the VAT tax....happened in Greece.

What is so undeniably insane is that this socialist model has been proven to fail every time it has been tried. Tyrants don't care about history or truth. All they care about is control of the masses to enrich themselves. It is a recipe for disaster. People's lives are already ruined by Agenda 21, and the EPA's implementation of "biodiversity" projects therein. Note the San Joaquin Valley in California where farms have been shut down and farmers are out of work, packers and truckers are out of work. That is just one example of many. The Kelo decision which annihilates private property rights is another example.

Americans who are duped into thinking they are voting out corporate and government corruption and voting in socialist "feel good" projects to help the poor, are not educating themselves to see the lies behind the politicians' rhetorical nonsense. It is Americans who are committing national suicide by stupidity. Convinced by charlatans of some misplaced undeserved guilt for the plight of poorer nations, Americans with large hearts are not using their heads, and getting sucked down the tubes. And that is what alarms me the most. That is the train coming smack at us that I can't seem to stop. Organizations that started out as charity, such as Hospice, and Habitat for Humanity, are now co-opted by government grants with strings attached. NGO's, Non-profits, and all things that used to be voluntary are being twisted into government obligations. Public schools that used to be operated by states and local communities are now seeped in Federal indoctrination and union led teachers. Youth are being indoctrinated to take up the Obama socialist vision for America. And all of this is being driven by a globalist view for world wide tyranny run by the likes of Al Gore, Maurice Strong, George Soros, all of the usual suspects.

America....helloooooo.....wake up out there.

"Two Southern California utilities were awarded more than $125 million in stimulus funds from the Department of Energy today to demonstrate “smart” electric grid systems and test energy storage projects.

A group of 16 awards totaling $435 million went to smart grid programs run through 50 utilities and companies in 21 states. Another 16 grants for $185 million were given to utility-scale energy storage projects, which could help integrate renewable energy options such as wind and solar into the mainstream electricity network."

The gist is that Cathy Zoi is just one of the Obama buddies who is going to rake it in with Cap and Trade legislation should that abomination pass the Senate. Even without the legislation, the march of the left continues through fiat and stimulus money where they implement the not so "Smart Grid" without making it law. They just do it......sort of like the Nike commercials.

In case you aren't aware of the "green" slime crime happening to us without our consent, the two articles above show you just a tip of the iceberg of the corruption and racketeering being perpetrated on the American people in the name of going "green." I can't even fathom how much money is being stolen and how many of these criminals exist who are on the take. Well, it's "green" all right. As in the color of money. And you probably aren't in on the profiteering. Of course the "Smart Grid" is all for your best interest, you know. And we're saving the planet, you know. And we nasty greedy Americans shouldn't be able to adjust our own thermostats, you know. It just wouldn't be fair to Zimbabwe, you know.

Using our tax money and debt laden "Stimulus" dollars, the theft of America is the game of the day. Crime, Inc. is Obama's government. You ain't seen nothing yet.

WHAT FREE MARKET?

Those of you who think free market capitalism is a good thing, please stand up. Those of you who think free market capitalism has been alive and well in America for the last many decades, please take a flyer to Never Never Land. Those of you who hate free market capitalism, tell me when the last time was that you saw such a thing.

From the early 1900's, since Woodrow Wilson and the establishment of the Federal Reserve, there has been a steady and deliberate destruction of free market capitalism in America. Once the politicians created a separate bank, one which they could use to control the money supply, the idea of a free market was at risk of manipulation by said politicians.

So, for over 100 years, our livelihoods have been played like puppets to the tune of enriching politicians, depending on who and what industry was in or out of favor of any particular time. The question is, how are we to retrieve a free market based system that has been missing for a 100 years? Some industries tried to escape the talons of the federal government, and lost. The others decided it was easier to get in bed with the government in order to try to survive. Consequently, our America has been at the mercy of greedy politicians for much longer than I have been alive. When all Americans really want is to conduct business without the corruption of politicians interfering. Oh, how naive I must be to hope for such liberty. My family, some Irish and some German, all came here to escape the tyranny of governments who became so corrupt. And now we find ourselves wrapped up in the same thing we tried to escape, a couple of generations later. Tyranny. Without economic liberty, there is no liberty. Period.

All of that came to mind when I read an article from Big Government.com I live in North Carolina, whose citizens are struggling, like all those in other states, to wrestle themselves out from under the thumb of heavy handed government interference. The onslaught is relentless. The killer is that some really stupid or greedy (not sure which) keep electing unscrupulous officials who are in it for the money. Democrat, junior Senator Kay Hagan is just such a government official. She is supposedly on the warpath to get rid of "payday" lenders, citing them as bad for consumers and predatory towards the poor and misfortunate. But her campaign money is coming from who? The commercial banks who would like nothing more than to put other competitors (payday lenders) out of business. Kay would like to pay back her cronies, you know. In case that alone is not enough to convince you of Hagan's corruption, here is an excerpt from the article:

"Hagan is also carrying the water for the corrupt Center for Responsible Lending, the group who took $15 million from John Paulson, a key figure in the Goldman Sachs scandal. This money was used to undermine the subprime lending market that helped millions of Americans buy their first homes. While witnessing this, Hagan’s cronies reaped billions of dollars off of their bets against the American dream. The Center for Responsible Lending – author of the Hagan bill – was involved in a scheme with John Paulson and Senator Chuck Schumer to destroy IndyMac Bank that allowed Paulson to buy pieces of IndyMac at fire sale prices and collect billions for himself and his cronies."

Americans don't have a prayer against this type of government corruption. It was one thing for the lobbyists to pay off politicians to try to eliminate regulations. It is just another, yet worse, side of the coin when politicians are using laws and regulations to wreck companies and then profit from the devastation. It has become so obvious that we are left with our heads spinning wondering how in the hell they are getting away with this. What used to be criminal and punishable by law, is now common government practice and being promoted as the Democrat ideal. The criminals in our government are running around patting themselves on the back for their cleverness, and have corrupted the media to spin the message to convince the public that they are actually doing something good. The entire scenario is straight out of "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand, would that the public had read and understood the book.

Freedom and prosperity are cohabitants. Without freedom, the only prosperity is that of the powerful elitists pulling the strings. If we don't get the crime out of government, we will not survive the coming decade as the America we love and want to remain. My message is: STOP ELECTING THESE CRIMINALS.

Dear readers,
I quickly have come to conclusion that I have created a habit that is killing me. I get up everyday and read the newspapers and get upset. I then go to my studio with intentions of reading a few emails and going back to my paints and brushes. But then I turn on Glen Beck and read emails from activists...and I get even more upset. I find myself so immersed in the tragic destruction of my country that I am completely ignoring the life I was living and the tasks at hand. I spend hours researching political subjects instead of painting beautiful paintings. My heart is in shreds over our country....and I am letting those who are involved in the socialist/fascist corruption of America wreck my life's gift and direction. Do I let them do this in my efforts to stop them from destroying my country? Or can I find some balance between painting joyful subjects and having my heart ripped out at the same time? I guess we'll see.

The next painting is from the above still life I have on my art table at the moment. If I succeed at the painting, I'll post it when finished. While I will still post now and again, and I will follow the news...I have to get back to my work. My love reaches out to all who have come my way in our efforts. (Especially a guy named Carl in New York who is a fine fine guy!!)

P.S. I hope like me you are praying for Glenn Beck's safety every day. He has a patriot's courage to stand up and speak out where angels fear to tread. His expose´ today of the Cap and Trade scam was investigative journalism at it's best. While he says he is not Woodward and Bernstein...I disagree. He is what they used to be....only better. He is entirely correct with his facts and his assessment of the crimes we are witnessing. The question becomes, is there anyone with any authority who will be brave enough to start the prosecutions. When does collusion to scam the public out of billions of taxpayer monies become enough to bring charges? When the crime syndicate owns the justice department and the White House, who in the country is the sheriff? I've said for quite a while now that Al Gore should be brought up on RICO charges. Now that we know about the Chicago Carbon Exchange, we can add Obama to the list of climate crime bosses. Conflict of interest evidently isn't recognized in this country anymore as corruption. Why is that?
