KUDZU, THE ASIAN CARP, AND THE CORDOBA MOSQUE

Multi-cultural and diversity are the group think buzz words of the day.  In fact, the government is so busy forcing multi-culturalism and diversity, you would think that those are the most important sociological tenets ever dreamed up by the genius of man.  Sociology used to be the study of societies.  Now it has become social engineering of societies through the force of governments.  Strange things happen when men force incompatible groups together.  Like putting alligators in a room filled with puppies.  Diversity becomes a nightmare.  Predatory instincts are not to be denied, yet social engineers keep insisting on putting predators in the room with likely victims.

What, in heaven's name, do Kudzu and Asian Carp have to do with the Cordoba Mosque, you may be asking?  The tags multi-cultural and diversity assume compatibility.  That assumption is, as my Dad would say, making an ass out of U and Me.

In our local area we fight Kudzu vines every year which are voraciously eating up fields and trees.  Initially it was thought that introducing Kudzu into the U.S. would be a good thing.

Description: Kudzu, a perennial vine native to Japan and China, was first introduced into the USA in 1876 and was actively promoted by the government as a "wonderplant", It expanded to cover over 1 million hardwoods by 1946 and well over 2 million hardwoods today. When Kudzu invades a forest, it prevents the growth of young hardwoods and kills off other plants. Kudzu causes damage to powerlines, and even overwhelms homes, Kudzu has invaded important protected areas, requiring significant investment of management resources, The management response to date outside the protected areas has been insufficient to deal with this very significant threat.

Two species of Asian carp -- the bighead and silver -- were imported by catfish farmers in the 1970's to remove algae and suspended matter out of their ponds. During large floods in the early 1990s, many of the catfish farm ponds overflowed their banks, and the Asian carp were released into local waterways in the Mississippi River basin.
The carp have steadily made their way northward up the Mississippi, becoming the most abundant species in some areas of the River.

The Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal, where the barrier is being constructed, connects the Mississippi River to the Great Lakes via the Illinois River.

Asian carp, which have steadily moved toward Chicago since the 1990s, present a challenge for scientists and fish biologists. The fish are aggressive eaters, consuming as much as 40 percent of their body weight a day in plankton, and frequently beat out native fish for food, threatening those populations.

On a conference call today with Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin and other congressional leaders, President Obama’s Council on Environmental Quality announced the selection of John Goss to lead the near $80 million, multi-pronged federal attack against Asian carp.

Untold millions of dollars are spent on defending our country against predators.  Be they plants, fish, or people, we are having to use our resources to fight off continuing attacks from incompatible entities that were mistakenly introduced into our society out of naiveté.  We used to have an immigration policy that was protective of the United States interests.  All bets are off now.  Now the elites think you can introduce anyone and anything into our environment without consequences.  That is naive and dangerous.  How many billions have been spent over the last two decades trying to fend off or appease the Muslim culture?  How many of our soldiers have died while liberating Muslims from their own ill-made circumstances?

The Cordoba Mosque in NYC is a perfect example of what is not at all compatible with our culture.  In fact, religious freedom is being used to introduce an incompatible, I would say predatory, group of people into our society.  Muslims are not compatible with the American system of government.  Muslims desire to have their Sharia laws become the laws of our land.  They are insistent upon implementing those laws.  Their "holy book" tells them it is perfectly acceptable to lie and deceive in order to gain their ends.  The Imam Rauf pushing this mosque is stating, unequivocally, a threat that the mosque will be built in the Ground Zero location or heads will roll.  He is saying the Koran burning demonstration in Florida will bring attacks.  Paraphrasing there, but you get the picture.  What about that is compatible with our American way of life?  What is being set up is a moral conflict between America and Islam, which is exactly what radical Muslims want.  Is our plan to just nicely and politely invite them?  "Sure, come on in."  Do puppies invite alligators into the room?  Imam Rauf is demanding they walk right in ....or what? Threats and more threats.

The best of intentions are the road to hell, as the saying goes.  It is inviting disaster to try to incorporate an incompatible society into our own.  Suicidal.
