HERE'S AN IDEA! LET'S RUIN THE WEATHER AND THEN SOAK PEOPLE FOR IT!

Sunny days and mild conditions do not prevail in the thinking of desperate thieves.  Nope.  It's all bad weather from here on out.  Somewhere on any given day on planet earth, there is bound to be a weather event of some sort.  Tsunamis, hurricanes, floods, droughts, lions, tigers and bears, OH MY!!

First, let's see what we already do to protect society from weather disasters.  Measures have been taken by government to mitigate such things.  Dams have been built to prevent and / or control flooding in prone areas.  (This also gave us hydro-electric power and made us all happy to have that!)  Frequently flooded areas were so designated and thereby zoned out of building allowances.  Not that I approve of this, but people who did build in flood prone areas were at their own risk or could buy flood insurance through a government subsidized program, I think.  (Not an expert on this, but I believe that is so.)  Then there is home protection insurance for storm damage.  Free markets allow this insurance.  Then you have government subsidized drought insurance for farmers.  Looking at the Hurricane Sandy situation in the northeast, I see that Washington D.C. and the northeast politicians are screaming and hollering for relief money from our national coffers (in the red and empty) to be coughed up by the billions.  This happens every time there is a big event.  Hurricane Andrew in Florida, Hurricane Katrina on the gulf coast, etc.  One place gets hit and the whole nation pays for it.  Who says we aren't already collectivists?

All that I just described is either preventative or reactionary spending for weather events we lowly citizens think of as part of the risk of living on the planet. We batten down the hatches and / or head for the high ground.  But what if there is more to the story?

IMAGINE CONTROLLING THE WEATHER

What if there is such a thing as a man-made climate / weather crisis? (No I don't mean you personally, but, rather, some folks doing this deliberately.) Stumbled upon this just now and can't help but fall back on my "gods" theory from the previous post.  If "man-made" climate change really means the government is forcing weather events with unintended consequences from experimental programs, then how can you or I be "causing" any of it?  We aren't.

But the government may be.  If you look around the web you can find some serious evidence that they are.  And if they are, we would be paying double taxes for the weather.  Our taxes paying the government  to screw up the weather and then more taxes to recover the damage from the weather the government screwed up.  Now there's an idea...let's make citizens pay to experimentally control the weather, and then let's make them pay when it goes badly.  Good one.  Al Jazeera Gore has to love that!

Is this good intentions paving the road to hell, AGAIN??  I bet all of these experimental weather projects are just to help us out....right?  Nah.  Nevermind.  Forget I said that.  This isn't like building a dam or rebuilding a city after a natural disaster.  This is creating an unnatural disaster and then grabbing all the guilt and money from the poor suckers who live here to pay for the consequences.

Just so you know something really is going on....Kay Bailey Hutchinson on Weather Modification

HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN GOING ON?

You should read that entire page if you want to see the history of Weather Modification.  Here is a piece of it:

Thirty years following the creation of the Nation Program in Weather Modification, the US Air Force published a document (Owning The Weather in 2025) establishing that federal agencies involved in the National Weather Modification program are under tacit authority of the Department of Defense.

Owning the Weather in 2025 – Opening StatementCurrent technologies that will mature over the next 30 years will offer anyone who has the necessary resources the ability to modify weather patterns and their corresponding effects, at least on the local scale. Current demographic, economic, and environmental trends will create global stresses that provide the impetus necessary for many countries or groups to turn this weather-modification ability into a capability.
In the United States, weather-modification will likely become a part of national security policy with both domestic and international applications. Our government will pursue such a policy, depending on its interests, at various levels. These levels could include unilateral actions, participation in a security framework such as NATO, membership in an international organization such as the UN, or participation in a coalition. Assuming that in 2025 our national security strategy includes weather-modification, its use in our national military strategy will naturally follow. Besides the significant benefits an operational capability would provide, another motivation to pursue weather-modification is to deter and counter potential adversaries.
In this paper we show that appropriate application of weather-modification can provide battlespace dominance to a degree never before imagined. In the future, such operations will enhance air and space superiority and provide new options for battlespace shaping and battlespace awareness.1 “The technology is there, waiting for us to pull it all together;”2 in 2025 we can “Own the Weather

The bottom line from today's meandering path of research....they break it and we own it.  Can't win for losing, as my Mom used to say.  That is... assuming any of this dastardly stuff is actually doing what they say it can.

I'm so simple minded.  I think about all the years of living, raising children, making a home, running a business, going about my life and not once in all of those years did it cross my mind to see if I might want to pay taxes to manipulate the weather.  Really.  I didn't.  Adapt to it.  Protect from it.  But actually pay people to modify the climate?  And then pay taxes to pay for the modifiers' mistakes?  Nope.  Never crossed my mind.  However, just a few years ago I did read Michael Crichton's book, "State of Fear."  I think he was onto something.

I'm still recovering from the flu....but this took my mind off of it for a couple of hours today.  What's a little flu when someone else is busy rigging the climate on my dime and yours, eh?  At the risk of sounding like a Bible thumping redneck, I'd much rather leave the weather and climate up to God.  Man's attempts at manipulating things hasn't been going so well lately.

FROM SMOKEY THE BEAR TO KERMIT THE FROG - ONE FOR THE KIDS

Dear Kermit,
I'm Smokey the Bear and I've been around a long time.  You may have seen me on TV commercials.  I want to give you some information, so you will know better how to conduct yourself in the future.  Sending messages to children is a serious business.

You see, I started this whole thing about forest fires a long time ago, before you were even conceived.  My message made sense.  It still does.  My message is to snuff out a campfire and not to throw lit cigarette butts around where a fire might start and burn down our forest home.  My message was to children and adults to be careful with fire.  It's a lesson any sane adult would pass along to their children.  Not complicated.  Easy.  Any caveman could understand it.

Well, Kermit, a strange and curious man showed up on the scene some years ago and, all of a sudden, taking care of our forests and wildlife became something totally bizarre.  The man's name is Al Gore.  He decided to tell everyone that humans are responsible for killing everything on the planet.  I think he must have talked to the folks at PBS, your employers, because they started doing some shows saying the same thing.  Then you came along and announced, "It isn't easy being green." Hmmm....Telling children that "green" isn't easy is preparing them for what?  I mean, you're cute and all that, for a guy that hangs out with a lady pig and a big yellow bird.  But your message is a lot different than mine.

One thing about us, you and me, is we are fictional characters.  Someone made us up.  We aren't real.  However, the messages we send are very real and directly impact children.   Your message has been about asking them to make sacrifices. Your message of difficulty in "being green" tells children that their lives must be downsized to accommodate your "green."  Right?  My message is just about being careful with matches and various sources of fire.  I didn't tell them to never light a fire.  I just told them to put it out when they are done with it.

Some bad people, like Al Gore and the liberals at PBS, are using you, Kermit.  Now they are saying that, in order to be "green," humans have to give up driving cars, living in nice homes, using energy to heat and cool their homes, stop having babies, and generally just stop doing anything.  Those things didn't hurt you, Kermit.  But this Al Gore guy...he wants people to think so.  He wants you to tell all of the children who listen to you to think they are a plague on the earth.  Is that what you think of the children who watch and listen to you?

The funny thing about this Al Gore fellow, he doesn't actually live the way he tells everyone else to live.  He has multiple homes and goes to get massages frequently..... and he flies around in a big jet plane. He's getting rich by telling little frogs like you to make everyone stop living well, even though he lives like a king!  For years he has been preaching about some scheme to tax people for using any energy.  And this tax scheme will make him rich, but will make your young friends a lot poorer.  And when they are poorer, they won't be able to buy your songs or books or afford to watch your show on cable TV.  They probably won't even be allowed to have a house in which to grow up.

My message doesn't make anyone poorer, Kermit.  You see, I want humans to live well and have forests so they may make their homes, and furniture, and books!  Forests do more than just provide a habitat for you and me.  They also support humans.  Plus, forests renew themselves with good management from humans.  In fact, we have more forests today than existed when Columbus discovered America!

So Kermit, why don't you tell your human advisers that you are not going to send these bad messages to your young audience anymore?  We need humans, you see.  They are the reason we exist.  Without humans, we are out of work.  Who will laugh with us or think we are cute?  Who will buy our commercials and TV shows?  Who will need us for anything?

Another thing to worry about is telling children something that isn't true.  What will they think of you when they figure out that heating their homes is not really killing the planet?  Or that their Moms driving them to school in an SUV doesn't hurt anyone?  They'll think you are a good-for-nothing frog who sold the truth out for your career.  Now you don't want children to grow up and realize you lied to them, do you?  You could go down in history as Kermit the Lying Green Frog.  I don't think you want that!

Finally, please give my best regards to Miss Piggy.  The "green" movement has her on their target list for eradication.  I think you will sorely miss her if she suddenly disappears.  You see, her cousins help feed the world and Mr. Gore doesn't like that idea, so he's trying to tell everyone that pigs are very bad for the diet.  Besides, he and others want to use the feed for livestock and humans to be wasted on engine fuels, which is another way for Mr. Gore to get rich and get rid of the humans he considers a plague.  Such a kidder, that Gore guy.

Anyway, I wish you luck and hope you don't croak anytime soon.  Just please reconsider what you are telling our little friends.

Your buddy,
Smokey the Bear

Note to my readers:  I realize the last three posts have gone from Santa Claus to Humpty Dumpty to Smokey the Bear and Kermit the Frog.  My only excuse is that I think my Mommy mode must have kicked in and I am going for protection of our children at this point.  Since the fraudulent re-election of the O in the White House I am even more concerned about the loss of opportunities and freedoms for our children and grandchildren.  I don't count myself in the '60's crowd in power who are on this rampage to ruin the country, even though I am chronologically in that generation.  I didn't raise my children in this nation in order to deny them the understanding or realization of all that we were given.  My advice is to beat the drum loudly, teach them gently, but firmly, and get those little ones out of the indoctrination centers called public schools.

MAYORS OF THE WORLD UNITE?

Well, I bet you thought that when you elect a mayor of your city, that mayor would be responsible to the voters in your city. That's what I thought until fiats and directives by our mayor popped up out of nowhere and have nothing to do with our local citizens' desires for our city. I wonder if this is your observation as well.

The red flag for me was a recent eminent domain taking from our mayor who took someone's property for a greenway. That was the proverbial 2X4 hitting me in the head. I wondered where in the world does this mayor think she gets that kind of authority. What would make a mayor think that people want their property taken for something so inconsequential as a greenway? To be honest, this type of over-reaching has been going on for a long time in our city. And it hasn't just been eminent domain. It has been misuse of city monies, meddling in private businesses, top down controls of what should be simple capitalism / commerce, and countless awards ceremonies for really stupid things that should have nothing to do with the purpose of reasonable government. Usually the excuses are Smart Growth, Sustainable Business Practices, Environmental issues, Livable Communities, Walkable Communities, e.g. There has never been a referendum on any of these things. No formal approval by the voters. My reaction has been one of disbelief to denial. For a long time I've thought something was radically wrong with this mayor and these policies, but I could not figure out why she thought she could run roughshod over our citizens by redistributing our tax money to force businesses to cooperate with the global warming dictates.

So I went digging. And found that mayors belong to a club. It is not a nice club. It is a club with connections and partnerships you and I don't want. I stumbled upon the U.S. Conference of Mayors The U.S. Conference of Mayors is a policy making and lobbying organization. USCM has been working against the will of the people for a long time. More recent developments are cited below:

Wikepedia on USCM
The U.S. Conference of Mayors also houses the Mayors Climate Protection Center, created in 2007 to provide support mayors in efforts to reduce global warming in American cities.[34] In June 2007, the Center awarded its first annual "Mayors' Climate Protection Awards" to leading mayors. The "U.S. Mayors Climate Protection Agreement", initiated by Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels in 2005, seeks the pledges of mayors from all 50 states to take action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 7% from 1990 levels by the year 2012, in line with the Kyoto Protocol. As of February 2010, 1017 mayors have signed the Agreement.[35] In 2007, the mayors called for a multi-billion dollar grant to help cities fight global warming and declared global warming as first on their list of top-ten priorities.[36][37] That year the conference and the city of Seattle hosted the "2007 Mayors Climate Protection Summit in Seattle", which featured Bill Clinton and Al Gore.[38] Wal-Mart has been a corporate partner in the presentation of the first two years of these awards.[39][40]

Here is a paragraph on the programs and policies. And no, I do not believe the USCM should be telling our local mayors how to implement federal policies within the states or our cities. What happened to Federalism? What happened to local autonomy? Where did your vote go??

The organizations members serve on the Council's standing committee which recommend policies for the general body to evaluate for endorsement at the summer meetings. The endorsed policies are delivered to the United States President and United States Congress.[1][31] recycling, defense fundingglobal warming.[52][53][54] Although the organization is domestic, its reach is international. It partakes in missions to worldwide locations.[55] When the internet blossomed and Bill Clinton made plans for an unregulated and untaxed electronic marketplace, state and local officials objected. Their voice was represented by the Council.[56] Mayors may also serve on one or more of the Conference's standing committees: Children, Health and Human Services; Community Development and Housing; Criminal and Social Justice; Energy; Environment; International Affairs; Jobs, Education and the Workforce; Membership; Tourism, Arts, Parks, Entertainment and Sports; Transportation and Communications; and Urban Economic Policy. The councils supports initiatives such as handgun regulation, and

So, while we know that "global warming" is a lie and there is no need for a "Climate Protection"treaty, and we know that our Congress never ratified any of the UN treaties to that end, our mayors have been working to implement Al Gore's big lie. But if you want to be a big shot in the world of mayors, and if you want to receive federal grants, you don't care what your local voters / citizens want. What do we get? The U.S. Mayors Climate Protection Center.

US Mayors Climate Protection Center

"Under the leadership of The Conference, the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program was conceived, making it possible for the first time in U.S. history, for cities, counties and states to receive grants specifically to fund energy-efficiency projects. This program was a top priority of the Mayors' 10-Point Plan and the Mayors' MainStreet Recovery Program. The Obama Administration earlier this year, acted to distribute $2.8 billion for EECBG, included in the Recovery Package (ARRA), which will benefit hundreds of U.S. cities."

"Energy-efficiency projects" the top priority? In short, if your mayor wants money from the feds and awards from USCM, your mayor will do what the USCM wants your mayor to do, which is cut your energy usage down to zip to ostensibly save the planet when the planet does not need saving??

Next time you see your mayor strutting around and getting awards for all those grants received by the feds, you might want to ask how much of your individual liberty your mayor just sold down the river for those awards and grants. When the "Smart Grid" arrives at your house so you may not adjust your own thermostat, what is your recourse? You have none. But you can open the newspaper and see pictures of your mayor with a crown on his or her head for being such a good friend to Al Gore and Bill Clinton?

BRING ON THE FEAR

What are you afraid of?  Rejection?  Spiders?  Armed robbers?  Starving to death?  Being poisoned?  Tripping over a dead body?  Losing your Social Security?  How about losing your medical care?  Roving bands of feral foxes in the neighborhood?  Someone who says, "boo!"  Freezing to death?  Dying of heat prostration?  Getting hit by lightening?  Going broke?  Getting smacked by an authority figure?  The IRS?

Really.  Bear with me...this may be a little hard to follow, but it may make you think about how we got here.

There are people who love to make other people jump out of their skin with fear.  They are the Freddie Krugers of the world.  If life is going along just fine, they are not happy.  They just have to do something to get a reaction out of someone.  It's how they get attention.  Sadly, it is usually the only trick they know......do or say something outrageous or horrible and, voilá, they are center stage and on everyone's front page.  This group loves to scare other people because it makes them feel in control.  By scaring people, they have elicited a response to their own core need for attention and thereby, rule over masses of hysteria.  They will scare you with your deepest fears, such as feelings of being rejected, feelings of insecurity, feelings of guilt, feelings of inadequacy, etc.  Whatever feeling they use to scare you with, you play right into their hands by letting yourself feel the desired response.

President Obama is continually telling us we have to do one thing or another or all hell will break loose, and then we will be very very sorry if we don't do what he says....i.e. he attempts to scare the bejeezus out of folks to make them do his bidding.  If "we" don't spend billions of dollars on lowering carbon emissions, "we" will kill the planet.  If "we" don't raise the debt ceiling, the country will collapse.  If "we" don't pass the health care bill, your medical care will go in the tank.  If "we" don't borrow trillions more dollars, everyone will be out of work.  If "we" don't take over the car companies, thousands and thousands of people will lose their jobs.  If "we" don't do whatever he says, America is doomed.  I want to ask, in the immortal words of Tonto, "Who is this "we" kemosabe?"

Evidently, Al Gore is good at scaring people to death.  In his baritone voice, he warns everyone that humans are killing everything on the planet.  What does he want?  Money.  He set up an entire business based on terrifying people.  So what that he is lying, that his premise is completely a fraud.  That is no matter to him.  If he scares enough people, he is successful in creating the fear he needs to get them to buy his lies and make him rich.  You just don't want to believe old Al Gore, that nerdy rich politician, would lie to you to enrich himself?  Ah, yes, it's much easier to think the best of the fellow and then swallow the poison he serves you through the surrogate news media airwaves every night over dinner.  You might get acid indigestion if you actually realize leaders are lying to you.  Which is harder; believing Al Gore would lie?  Or, believing you are killing the planet?   If you realize the fact that you are not killing the planet, then you have to face up the fact that Al Gore is lying, that government officials are lying, and that the media is lying right along with them.  Faith and trust in leadership is gone.  Get out the Rolaids.

The interesting thing about such people is that they have figured out how to scare people to death in order to get their own way.  There must be a psychological name for this dysfunctional personality, but I'm not sure what it is.  (Psycopathic liar, comes to mind.) Today it seems to me that such fear-mongers are gaining an audience in huge proportions.  Chicken Little is alive and well.  On street corners, for years, folks have stood with signs that say, "The End Is Near."  Traditionally, those folks have been laughed at and scorned for being loony.  Today we have Chicken Littles everywhere. We seem to have a political class that is operating on the same premise as Chicken Little.   They are telling you the country is going to collapse unless you divvy up your money, counting on you to be afraid of everything except themselves, distracting you from facts and historical truths.  Fear is epidemic. It's a national shake down based on fear.

This is not to say we don't have problems.  We do.  But reacting out of fear to those who are manipulating emotions is not the solution.  I wish everyone would step back, take a deep breath, do some serious critical thinking, and then proceed on the basis of facts.

Some people are afraid of truth.  Some people are afraid of history.  "Oh, no, don't bring up the Holomodor or the Holocaust again!"  "Don't tell me again about Jews thrown into ovens or Mao killing off millions of dissenters!" Don't remind me of Lenin and Stalin starving people to death!" "I can't stand to it....it can't be true!"  "Please shut up!"  "That will never happen again!"

We are all afraid of something.  For instance, I'm afraid of not knowing the truth.  You might be afraid of the truth.  And that, to me, describes at least some part of the great disconnect we are experiencing in our nation today.  A nation gripped with fear.  Some of us fear the liars.  Some of us fear the content of the lies. What are you afraid of?

Seems to me that a great number of people in this country want to believe lies because some lies make them feel less afraid than the truth.  The irony in this is that the lies are just reinforcing a different kind of fear.  We are caught between two categories of lies.  One is that our leadership will not lie.  The other is the boatload of lies our leaders are telling us. For instance, if you know the truth that there is no such thing as global warming, then you have to face the fear that your leaders are corrupt and are lying to you.  Which do you fear most?  The leadership lying?  Or global warming?   The leaders are relying on the theory that you will go for the global warming lie.  They know that it is easier to get you to fear some unfounded theory which plays into your fear of rejection or guilt, than to tell you the truth.  The truth being that they don't have a clue about what in the hell they are doing regarding the false premise of climate change, but they are going to make themselves very rich and powerful by lying to you.

Is it easier to believe that $14 trillion in debt is managable?  Or is it harder to face the fact that $14 trillion in debt is likely to ruin the futures of your grandchildren?  Is it easier to believe that getting groped at the airport makes you feel more secure?  Or, does it scare you that getting groped at the airport is not doing one damn thing to make the country safer?  Is it easier to believe that we can just fund millions of Mexicans coming across the border?  Or, does it scare you to believe our government just won't secure that border?  Is it easier to buy the lies or harder to face the truth that we are being lied to?    That we are being lied to is very disturbing and hard to face.  It gets you way out of your comfort zone.

So ends my 50 cent psychoanalysis for today.   I am afraid that too many Americans are believing lies in order to escape the hard truths.   I am afraid of people who ignore history for the sake of corrupt and convenient gratification.  The American premise is; we are supposed to be allowed to lead ourselves without the tyranny of a heavy handed federal government.  Leadership that will tell lies in order to gain power and money is, indeed, something to fear. Americans who choose to believe those lies are a huge part of the problem.

In the current age of Progressive liars, we should be afraid.  Very afraid.

BEDTIME STORY FOR GLOBAL WARMING CHILDREN

This article is also posted at Pundit House.com
There is now so much money being thrown at it, and so many politicians across the globe in on the take, that getting the truth out to the mass public on the fraud of "Climate Change / Global Warming is going to take monumental efforts. The massive dissemination of lies is beyond any scam that the world has ever seen.

Think of the perfect scam to pull in every citizen of every country.  What would it be?   Now think of something that effects everyone on the planet? What would that be? Go deeper. Think of something that effects food supplies and water supplies.  What would that be? Hmmm...maybe the world's climate?  Pick a substance in the natural science of the world that every living thing needs to exist and demonize it. What would that be?  Let's pick CO2.

Now, how could we control every living person on the earth? Create a crisis. What kind of crisis? How about creating a lie that people are ruining the planet by creating CO2, accuse them of killing the planet.  Convince them of this, not by real scientific facts, but by manipulating data and creating fictional graphs. How would you convince scientists to promote your lie?  You would offer them government and U.N. grants to prove your crisis. Scientists love money just as much as the next guy, plus they want money to fund their experiments at universities. Further, you can use every natural disaster to back you up.  An earthquake in Chile?  Must be too many cars on the roads.  A hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico?  Must be too many factories.  A tornado in Kansas?  Must be too much dust from cattle farms.  An oil rig blows up?  It must have happened because people use machines that use oil.  A glacier melts and freezes again?  Must be too many pieces of bacon on the breakfast plate.  A tornado in Arkansas?  Must be those incandescent light bulbs people use. Floods in Pakistan? Must be the temperature of people' houses. From now on, every single event on the earth is due to who?   People.  People are to blame.  Your neighbors are to blame.  Industries are to blame.  The United States is to blame.  Australia is to blame.  Europe is to blame.  Dumb people are to blame and are wrecking the planet for the Royal Wizards of all things Environmental who want to be paid for the people's stupidity.

So what do you to with all of those shameful, thoughtless, stupid, and horrible people? You figure out a way to control them and make their lives miserable so they will no long proliferate on the planet. You take away their choices of light bulbs, regulate their thermostats, regulate factories out of existence, keep farmers from irrigating their farms, force car manufacturers to make electric cars, make them pay for giant windmills and solar panels, tax them for everything so they can't live in relative comfort.  Make them pay for their transgressions against the planet. The Wizards of all things Environmental will reap the financial rewards of controlling all of these people, who are now so indoctrinated with the lie,  they will pay you, the Wizards, to punish themselves. They will buy the whips and chains and regulations and devices of control for you to use against them.

In order for a scam to work you only need three components. A lie, a person or persons to tell the lie, and useful idiots to believe and become proponents of the lie.

The perfect scam would be to make people pay you to make their lives miserable.  Wizards are very clever.  And once they get power, they don't like giving it up.  The useful idiots who buy the lies are often so prideful that they can't admit they were duped.  This creates a self-perpetuating lie that is difficult to stop.

Responsible environmental stewardship is a valuable thing to teach our children.  Telling them lies which will ruin their lives to make some very evil Wizards rich is a travesty against our children and I believe is child abuse.

THE OBAMA BASIS FOR FRAUD AGAINST AMERICA - RICO, ANYONE?

I don't know what happened to RICO.  Maybe there are just too many fraudulent organizations and culprits to charge.   Also, when the culprits are in charge of the Justice Department, it's unlikely that they will charge themselves.  Organized crime in government is rampant, yet we don't hear of RICO charges against organized fraud against the public with regard to environmentalism.  For instance, Al Gore has participated in fraudulent advertising for his scam by distributing his "Inconvenient Truth" movie throughout the public education system.  Now that we know the movie is for the most part a lie, or at best unfounded speculations by so-called scientists on the take, and that Gore was disseminating this information to benefit his own investments in carbon exchange schemes, where are the Feds?  I mean really, if we are going to bring 24 counts against Rod Blagojevich for supposedly trying to sell a seat in congress, then why aren't we going after Gore for lying to congress under oath in order to sell them on Cap and Trade?
Cap and Trade is exactly the same mechanism promoted by Enron for which Ken Lay was convicted of fraud and conspiracy.  Source  One common fraud is this:  benefit fraud, committing fraud to get government benefits. Others are: deceptions   confidence tricks   charlatanism   false advertising

Source Remember Enron? Did you know Enron had stuffed the pockets of politicians full of money, hoping to get the U.S. to sign the Kyoto Treaty? From the Washington Post, Jan. 13, 2002 (emphasis added):
On Aug. 4, 1997, Lay and seven other energy executives met with Clinton, Gore, Rubin and other top officials at the White House to discuss ... global warming ... there was broad consensus in favor of an emissions-trading system.
An internal memo said the Kyoto agreement, if implemented, would "do more to promote Enron's business than almost any other regulatory initiative outside of restructuring the energy and natural gas industries in Europe and the United States.
Ken Lay was convicted of doing exactly what Al Gore is doing.  Yet our government officials not only pat Gore on the back, but give him a legal pass on fraud.

Since Cap and Trade legislation got placed on the back-burner temporarily, Obama has gone round the bush and directed his EPA Dept. to declare CO2 a pollutant.  By doing this, he is laying the groundwork for Cap and Trade legislation before he loses the majority in congress.  Lame duck session, anyone?  The point is that he can use the "CO2 is a pollutant" lie as the convincing argument to pass Cap and Trade.  The point is also that even without Cap and Trade, the government can regulate industries, fine them, and generally make life miserable for everyone involved in creating energy for our country.  Further, this makes life miserable for consumers who are going to pay through the nose to keep their refrigerators in use. This is FRAUD.  And it has little or nothing to do with protecting the environment, but everything to do with using our tax dollars, Federal money and force, to pay back lobbyists and emission trading companies who paid politicians to pass Cap and Trade.  Al Gore for one.  They can make life so difficult through regulations that industries will be begging for Cap and Trade just to find some way to pay off the extortionists in the Federal government.  This will cause higher energy costs to the consumers who will ultimately pay for the schemes.  That's you and me, folks.

So we come to find out that Obama and his friends have set up an Enron-like organization in Chicago called the Chicago Climate Exchange.  Should Obama pick up his pen to sign Cap and Trade into law, the RICO enforcers should step in and nab him right then and there.  If only...

Congress is now considering a bill submitted by California Rep. Henry Waxman and Massachusetts Rep. Edward Markey that would use a cap-and-trade scheme to cut carbon emissions by 20 percent from their 2005 levels by 2020 and 83 percent by 2050. So far, the bill avoids the hard questions of how offset credits would be issued as well as how gas emission would be measured. But it does establish that credits and offsets be traded. If it is imposed, the Chicago Climate Exchange, the only carbon trading market in the nation, could be a major beneficiary because of its expertise on putting a value on carbon and its offsets.

Here are the players and their roles:
Joyce Foundation – A group founded in 1948 that took a sharp turn to the left after it's founder, Beatrice Joyce Kean died in 1972.
Barack Obama – President of the United States and one time Board member of the Joyce Foundation. Largely responsible for creating the Chicago Climate Exchange by funneling money to it from the Joyce Foundation.
Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) – An exchange dealing exclusively with Cap and Trade passes, techonology, etc. It was formed largely due to Obama's role as Board member on Joyce Foundation. Obama oversaw the funneling of money from that foundation to the CCX as well as to an entity headed by Bill Ayers' brother.
Valerie Jarrett – Senior advisor to Barack Obama and current Board member on the Joyce Foundation.
Al Gore – Founder of London-based Generation Investment Management (GIM). London also happens to be in the same country where climategate broke. GIM owns 10% of the CCX.
Goldman Sachs – Banking giant that, like Gore, owns 10% of the CCX. Also worthy of note is that at least six former Goldman Sachs executives work inside the Obama administration while Congress puts on a dog and pony show, publicly chastising other Goldman execs about their supposed complicity in the financial crisis.
Franklin Raines – Former head of Fannie Mae. While there, Raines used taxpayer dollars from Fannie Mae to purchase cap and trade technology.

(Note: the Cap and Trade technology that Franklin Raines bought with our money is Smart Meters, the gadgets the Federal government is planning to put on your house and mine to control our individual energy usage.  Don't you love it when they use our own money against us?)
In fact, since we know that "CO2 is a pollutant" is a total lie, why can't we nab Carol Browner, the Climate and Energy Czarina, Lisa Jackson, the EPA Czar, Obama and his buddies in this cute little enterprise and put them under lock and key for about, oh say, 75 years apiece?  After all, are they not defrauding the public to throw our tax dollars at the Chicago Climate Exchange, their carbon trading Enron-like machine?  Ken Lay must be screaming from his grave.  I wonder if he just didn't have enough money to buy off the government.  The Joyce Foundation, Goldman Sachs, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have a lot more money than Ken Lay ever dreamed of.  C'mon, Elliot Ness.  Where are you?

Watch out for the lame duck session because payback is still in the works.  Cap and Trade, i.e. Kneecap and Tax, has not gone away.  It will cripple the United States even further than the Obama administration has already.  The "mob" doesn't go away.  It just looks for an opportunity to hit the "mark."  We're the "mark." They have not given up on this scheme to defraud the public.  RICO anyone?
