7 STEPS = THE FORMULA FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF AMERICA

After the Robert's decision and after all we have seen over the last decade, you have to realize the U.S. Constitution is being shredded and / or ignored completely.  So realize it.  Take it in.  Breathe deeply, close your eyes, and just take it all in.

My explanation may be simplistic, but the formula is rather simple at it's core.  Most of my readers can see this, but I am going through this exercise for the sake of a few naive people I know who can't figure this out.  It struck me today to try to articulate this as simply as I can, maybe for my own digestion, but also for someone who may be unable to see how America has been lost.  (At least for now and maybe forever.)

First, think about necessities, i.e. currency, housing, natural resources, transportation, energy, education, health care, and food.  Imagine you want control over all of those necessities in order to control the population.  (No, don't give me that look, like who would want to do that?  Or why would anyone want to do that?  We know who and we know why...so don't even go there.)

Step #1. Create the crisis. Now think about what you would do to command control of all of those sectors.  Each one of the sectors I mention is publicized as being in crisis mode or under shortages.  You know the drill.  "We're running out of energy sources."  "We're running out of natural resources."  "Too many people don't have access to health care."  "Education is failing our students." "We have food deserts."  (Conversely, "we have an obesity epidemic.")  "Banks are evil because people can't get loans."  Conversely, "Money disappearing into the coffers of highly paid executives."...or, "Money is just disappearing a la AIG and J.P. Morgan.")  "Cars are killing the planet."  "Humans and domestic animals create evil greenhouse gases."  "Americans are too wealthy and use up too many resources."  While you are at this, destroy the infrastructure, divert transportation money away from roads and bridges, blow up dams, monitor and restrict farming, etc.

Step #2. Use government power to "fix the crisis."  In your mind, go back to Jimmy Carter.  What did he do?  Crises.  In his case it was the energy (gasoline) crisis, housing and banking.  (Housing was not a crisis, but he hit two birds with one stone on that one because he went after the banks on home loans, creating the Community Reinvestment Act, thereby regulating the banks.  Strangling the banks, more like it.  Forcing them to loan to areas which notoriously were high risk areas.

Now let's go to Bill Clinton.  He doubled down on the banks and housing regulations by putting the CRA on steroids.  Not done, he then created the President's Council on Sustainable Development which hits ALL of the sectors on the pretense of a fictional global environmental crises.  He also refused to go after Bin Laden, but oh well.

Move right along to Bush.  Voilá!  911. A security crisis.  Create the Patriot Act and Homeland Security (HSA).  Warrantless wiretaps.  Airport scanners.  Drones over American land.

All through these years you have the open border policy allowing millions of illegal immigrants into the country.  Voilá!  Another crisis.  More regulations forcing Americans to pay for the illegals.

All through these years you demand public education curriculum which supports your ideology.  Rewrite history and refuse to teach the tenets of liberty.

Spend until the nation has more debt than the GDP.  Outspend productivity.

Step #3. Make it global.  Forget the United States as a sovereign nation and wind all of the problems into the global picture.  Both literally and figuratively, make Americans pay the price for global problems that American citizens did not create, but some American government policies did.  Tie us into the IMF so we are on the hook for the EU crisis.  Invest public retirement funds in global markets through the World Bank.  Treaties with the UN that redistribute our sovereign wealth.  Create Free Trade Agreements and Free Trade Zones within our sovereign borders.  Tie us all together in neat little Gordian knots made of your Socialist utopian threads from which we cannot escape.

Step #4.  Use the media (buy the media) to propagate the lies and ridicule anyone who doesn't buy into the lies.  Redefine everything.  Regulate speech (making speech a hate crime) and control internet communications (in process now). Dumb the culture down.  Appoint global progressives or sycophants to the Supreme Court.  Hand power to your fellow travelers in all government agencies.

Step #5.  Hire millions more government employees to handle all of the new regulations.  Use the power of regulations to shut down private sector businesses and / or collude with the larger (too big to fail) industries.  Bailout the 'too big to fail' sectors. Raise taxes to pay for all of this.  Use tax policies to reward or punish citizens.

Step #6.  You are almost done now.  Next, you just start using executive orders. Corrupt the Justice Department.  Corrupt the military mission from defense of the nation to social causes.   Forget the people's House.  Go around Congress.  Make sure the Federal Reserve keeps interest rates at zero.  Print more money to cause inflation.  Corrupt the currency and the banking sector.

Step #7.  Gloat.  Manage the crises you created while pretending you are solving them.  Manage the perpetual wars.  Vacation in Hawaii and New England.  Play golf.  Party on, Dudes!!!  Your mission is accomplished.  Retire on our dimes.  Build monuments to yourselves.  Your children inherit your lies and wealth, while our children inherit your crises and debts.

I'm sure I've left some things out here and there.  But that's the crux of the situation.  Did you like being American?  I did.  Did they ask us if we wanted to be global Socialists?  And if they did, did you even understand what that means?  And if you did understand what that means, why did you vote for it?

Where is our America?
I don't even like Simon and Garfunkel, politically speaking, but this is the song that came to my mind:

HOT POTATOES -WHO SHOULD PAY FOR BANK BAILOUTS

Sometimes it is amusing to watch the schemes of the Socialists implode.  Actually, it would be a lot more amusing if they would take the consequences of their own disasters, but what always happens is they have set things up so you and I get to pay the price for their insanity.  So if you could step outside of the pain and failures, you could laugh.  But as it is now, we can't step outside of the pain and failures because we are suffering the brink of economic disaster due to Socialists in government here and abroad.  My continuing goal is to figure out how to get out of this mess and make the designers of the crises pay for their handiwork.

One of the more recent coups of the Fabian Socialists was the financial crisis of 2008. The mortgage implosion and derivatives debacle was the perfect moment for the Fabians to step in and get control of the United States economy.  We are not yet out of this part of the financial crisis.  I think the general public still cannot wrap their minds around what happened.  The only wealth distribution that has happened is the American public has gotten soaked while the big money players such as Goldman Sachs, Hank Paulson, George Soros, etc. are rolling in wads of riches.  Keep in mind as you read this that Bernie Madoff went to jail and has his assets stripped for defrauding the public with his financial schemes.

For a more extensive explanation of the mortgage crisis GO HERE to the American Spectator

BANK BAILOUTS, MY SHORT VERSION
*************************************
THE SET UP

Long ago in the 1970's there was a misguided and economically ignorant President of the United States named Jimmy Carter.  Being from the South and carrying around some kind of guilt over slavery, he was pushed by the Democrat Black Caucus to come up with some kind of national reparations.  His genius answer to this was to invent something called the Community Reinvestment Act.  The CRA used the force of government regulations to force banks into lending requirements for poor black neighborhoods and to give low mortgage rates to those poor blacks wanting loans.  In order to make this palatable to the banks, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were set up as "affordable housing" lenders of more of the loans.  The percentage of these loans required by the banks was kept somewhat small in the beginning, but nevertheless Federal regulations were forcing the banks to take on risky loans.  The banks and Fannie and Freddie all had to take on the risks.  Fannie and Freddie, by the way, are backed by our Treasury.  So, for all intents and purposes, Jimmy Carter put you and me on the hook for these loans.

Flash forward to Bill Clinton, the "First American Black President."  In order to put himself in favor of the blacks and, thereby get the black votes, Clinton put the CRA on steroids with regulations and had Fannie and Freddi underwriting the low income loans.  Fannie and Freddie, between 2005 and 2007 bought $1 trillion worth of low income loans.   Keep in mind that Fannie and Freddie are guaranteed by our taxes.

Where the banks are concerned, the Federal laws were drawn up so that the banks could not erect an ATM or merge with another bank or conduct normal business unless they complied with the Federal regulations of taking on high percentages of CRA loans.  Force of federal law, all put in place so that Jimmy Carter could assuage his guilt complex plus buy black votes... and so Bill Clinton could buy black votes.

 THROWING AROUND THE HOT POTATOES

Seeing the handwriting on the wall, the banks decided this was too much high risk debt to take on and the outcome would wreck their balance sheets for shareholders.  Having legal fiduciary duty to their shareholders, the banks decided to bundle these loans with other loans and sell off these loans as derivatives to investment houses all over the world.  Goldman Sachs was one of them.  AIG, Lehman Brothers, and other huge financial investment firms were loaded up with these risky loans.  (Evidently Lehman Brothers didn't play ball with the henchmen, so our government did not bail them out and off into investment purgatory they went.)  Even with selling derivatives, the banks and Fannie and Freddie were, and still are, holding tons of these high risk CRA loans.  The laws have not been reversed and the banks are still on the hook for taking on these loans.  For this you can thank Barney Frank and Chris Dodd, the henchmen on the Banking Commitee in congress.  Plus, the gutless politicians who are scared out of their wits to stop the CRA for fear of being called racist, bigoted pigs.

Meanwhile, short sellers and hedge-fund managers could see this as a disaster in the making, so in 2008 they started to sell off the risky loan derivatives to the tune of billions of dollars.  The ones who made the sales, such as George Soros, made buckets of money.  Voilá, instant money crisis in the U.S. Treasury, the banks were about to fail, and the big investment houses were screaming, so the economic power brokers of the United States jumped in and used our good names and bank accounts to bail out the banks and investment houses.  In other words, they put you and me on the hook for bailing out the financial institutions which these same people put at risk with our money.  The hot potato always lands in our laps while these government manipulators and profiteers go merrily skipping down the road with their sacks full of money.  While they say the bailouts were loans and are being paid back by the offending parties..the laws have not been changed and the mortgage crisis continues today with more of the same policies.

THE SOLUTION

I'm not sure there is one.  Here we are almost three years later and the country is fuming over an economy that has been leveraged to 13 and a half trillion dollars of debt and a government that is completely out of control.  There are many reasons for the Tea Party movement, but this financial / economic situation is one of the big ones.

The jig is up.  More people now see the game that has been played and know that they were given a bum hand.  But most Americans are still shaking their heads and wondering what in the heck happened.  Most Americans are working their tails off while seeing their hopes for the future sent straight down the tubes.

The culprits are not being brought to justice.  The culprits own the Justice Department and the Democrat Party, so how likely is it that they will investigate and put themselves on trial for demolishing the U.S. economy?  NIL. NADA. ZIP. ZERO.  And to be honest on this, George Bush saw the problem coming and did not or could not stop it.  This implosion was not a huge surprise to those in power who knew the balance sheets.

This is not a tale of good intentions paving the road to hell.  This is a tale of schemers who should have known better, probably did know better, and did it anyway.  This is a story of Presidents who, out of purely selfish reasons, put our lives on the hook for their own political gains. Economic manslaughter?  Premeditated economic destruction?

My big problem with this is that the American public is not to blame and should not pay the price of corrupt politicians.  We deserve better than this.  We deserve economic justice, and that does not mean wealth redistribution.  It means just the opposite. It means fiduciary responsibility and asset based loan acquisitions.  It means thieves pay for their thievery.  It means the deliberate destruction of our economy should result in jail time, not just going forward, but retroactively against those who did it.   It means charges of treason.  And no one I know of has the courage to say that or do it.

The only hot potatoes I want would be sitting on my plate at dinner, smothered with butter and sour cream.

TICKING TIME BOMBS BY PROGRESSIVES IN AMERICA

IED's are strategically placed right there in the road, like land mines, and like floating mines in the water, just sitting there waiting to go off at a moment designed to do the most damage. Such is the work of leftists in America with politically charged laws that disguise themselves as "for the good of all," but in reality are conceived for the distinct purpose of taking down the United States.

My first example of a strategic ticking time bomb comes by way of Jimmy Carter. The Community Reinvestment Act he signed in 1977 was a vehicle to force banks to lower standards for loans and money to people who could not support a mortgage loan with their own income. The loans were structured as adjustable rate mortgages which had balloon payments. Over time, the Feds put more and more pressure on the banks to create more and more of these loans. Clinton put the CRA on steroids in 1995 and increased the amount of risk to the taxpayers by subsidizing Fannie and Freddie's purchase of the high risk, subprime loans. Meanwhile, Fannie and Freddie stocks were sold to the public as a "safe" investment to the public, touting the idea that the whole thing was backed by the solid and sound U.S. Treasury. The FDIC and the SEC were charged with oversight to assure that banks were complying with the "quota" system set up by the CRA. A bank could not expand, grow, continue to operate, or even put in an ATM unless it was giving away low interest risky loans to low income folks in the proper percentages to satisfy the Federal Government. These loans, which are now referred to as toxic assets, were money losers for the banks. What does a good bank do to make up the difference? Any number of creative things, some of which were bundling the loans as derivatives and selling them to other financial investment institutions such as Goldman Sachs, AIG, Washington Mutual, Lehman, etc. The derivatives were bought and sold again to international banks who wished to own American investments. Voila! What do we get when the loans implode? An international, global financial crisis. Who gets rich from short selling the derivatives? George Soros, who told everyone last year he was having a very good crisis.

The "Progressive's" ticking time bomb always involves investments from either unsuspecting investors or the taxpayers of the American public. This is what happens when America allows its government to create a maze of tangled money systems which co-mingle private money with government money. A few people who are aware of the machinations of the systems know how to benefit from them. Those at the top of the schemes know exactly what is going on and come out of it with boatloads of taxpayer monies, while taxpayers get soaked and the solvency of the American privately held corporations, having been manipulated by the Federal Government, goes straight down the tubes. For a hundred years or more, there have been deals struck between private corporations and individuals to buy favor from the U.S. Government. But the size and scope of the Community Reinvestment Act and its damage to the solvency of privately held banks is the largest ticking time bomb ever invented by Progressive politicians. The bomb went off in the fall of 2008, but the answer from our government was to double down on the explosives and use more taxpayer money to prop up the redistribution schemes.

Meanwhile, back at the press desks across our nation, Progressives have infiltrated nearly all of the media outlets in our country. The message from these Progressive newscasters has been to promote the redistribution of private wealth into the hands of socialist programs, and emphatically demonize banks, wall street, and any other successful private business that does not play their game or adhere to the socialist goals of redistribution.

In each of the ticking time bombs is forced and complicit cooperation of private industries. The Feds forced the banks to comply. Wall Street paid boatloads of campaign contributions to Democrats to try to ward off regulations which would limit their abilities to operate successfully. AARP donates tons of money to and supports the Democrats on Health Care to try to position itself to survive the take down. GE goes off promoting "Green" all over its media outlets, NBC and MSNBC and pushes "Green" appliances, lightbulbs, etc. Why? So GE can stay in business with the blessings of the Federal Government....and then GE can buy off political favortism for its business. It has become a circular back patting convention of industries greasing pols and pols greasing the skids for industries. Eventually all of these players become arms of the Feds. Now we have an entangled web of lies and schemes being foisted onto the American public

The ticking time bomb enacted this year by the Progressive Socialist congress and Obama? The Health Care Bill. It won't work for the very same reasons the CRA took down the financial system. It will do to our health care exactly what the CRA did: create insolvency, reduce the availability of care, take out insurance companies and medical facilities across the country. Who did you hear were the demons? Doctors and Insurance companies. What do you get? Voila! Complete Federal take over of health care, a la Britain and Canada.

Next up: Cap and Trade...taking down the energy industries.

The formula is always the same. The outcome is always the same. Failure. In our case, the death of America. It's the Marxists dream come true.

None of this is the way our Constitution was constructed. The Constitution was constructed to protect the American people from just this sort of abuse. Limiting the power of the Federal Government was and is the only answer to stop this type of tyranny. Yet, here we are. Ticking time bombs going off all around us and the Constitution being ignored by politicians and tycoons alike. We didn't get here over night. It is going to take monumental efforts by Americans to reverse the damage and heal America. Not sure if this is comforting or depressing but here is a stat: It only took 300,000 Bolsheviks to take down 130,000,000 Russians. If we are the majority in America, for God's sake, we cannot let the Bolsheviks take us down.

Lament for the Uneducated Minds

This link is a pre-election You Tube video and now the vote is irrelevant, however, this video explains how the government screwed up the economy for the entire country. It has fun music, too! Just for fun...Go Here!
(caveat: I am not a big McCain fan at all...but this video does show that he and President Bush did try to stop this crisis from happening.)

I am dedicating this one to a close friend who just can't figure things out. I preface this with the fact that she has no computer and doesn't want one, hardly reads the newspapers, and only listens to MSNBC. She'll never see this post. She is shaking her head in disbelief and repeating the mainstream media mantras about how bad corporations and greedy capitalists are to blame for all of our woes. She wonders how did our dear devoted politicians let this happen. To her, politicians are the nanny she relies on to take care of everything. "They" are supposed to be benefactors, protectors, Santa Claus, and everything else warm and fuzzy. Need I tell you she voted for Obama? Need I tell you she thinks public / government schools are the answer to everything?

I used to tolerate this thinking as misguided and sad. I am not so tolerant these days. In fact, I am really angry that she represents a larger quantity of uneducated and thoughtless populous who want "the government" to do everything for them. Ignorance is bliss, as the saying goes. I guess it is bliss if you don't realize how that ignorance is taking down an entire country.

I have to give this example of her thinking to illustrate the point: One day she called me up to tell me about the disastrous plight of some wild horses that were being rounded up to be sent to the far east for horse meat. She knew I would be sympathetic to this because I am an animal lover. "Oh, something must be done," she implored. "This is horrible!" The ASPCA was involved in trying to save these American animals and needed money, she related to me. So I jumped on the internet, found out where to send money, and got back to her on where to send money to help the animals whose cause she was so desparately pleading. I called her with the information and boy, did I get an earful! "Oh," she said, " I didn't mean I was going to give any of my money to help them." "I meant I wanted the goverment to save them." "I can't give my own money to such things!" "The government should stop them!"

Further conversation revealed more of her thinking. She informed me that she doesn't find it necessary or compelling to give to charities because she pays taxes. Taxes, she says, are the charity of her choice. To her, "the government" is her charity organization. She believes that if "the government" will do the work, then there is no need for "charity."

Marx is dancing in his element at this moment! "From each according to his ability,to each according to his need." Force. Government force. She votes for it every time. What she really wants is the government to steal your money by force to do what she wants the government to do.

So let's say "Jimmy" wants to make himself look like a hero. Jimmy decides he wants all poor people to own houses. There's a champion idea! Well, I guess Jimmy cannot personally buy houses for all of the poor people in the country, so instead, Jimmy will create a "government" entity that will facilitate poor people to own houses. You vote for Jimmy and he will see to it that all of those poor people will be home owners! Yea!! Boy can Jimmy pat himself on the back for this one! He's a hero!!!! Oh, but wait, I forgot to tell you that Jimmy was going to take, by force, your money to buy those houses. Furthermore, Jimmy can take taxes and litigate lawsuits against those bad greedy corporations to pay for this. More of a hero!!! Wow, Jimmy is on a roll!! They'll give him a Nobel Prize for this!! He'll be the winner of accolades all over the country and the world!!

Funny how no one calls him a thief or a scam artist. Funny how the mainstream media doesn't call him what he really is, a destructive, lying, stealing, Marxist, cheat. Nevermind that the entire country is now full of bankrupt persons and businesses, thanks to Jimmy. He's a hero! He is.... Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, and other democrat socialists.

And people just like the "friend" described above, voted for Jimmy and his chums, the socialist democrats (thieves) time and time again. And the really funny thing is...she just continues to shake her head and blame the bad greedy corporations and business executives. It's all their fault according to her.

I (the blogger) am in search of new friends, who, like me are going to speak up and stop this madness. And I (the blogger) hope to set some minds straight, so please pass this blog on to all who need to hear the truth. Maybe together we can start to turn the boat around and get back on track..if only we can educate some people.

Good Intentions Pave the Road to Hell

I'm not quite through with Jimmy Carter....here are some more of my thoughts on this former President....

It's all very well to wish for a perfect world where everyone has exactly everything everyone else has...if you look at that as perfect. I don't ascribe to that theory, which brings to mind Mao pajamas and Communist gulags. If I were to give Jimmy Carter any benefit of the doubt, I could say that because he came from the South and wanted to compensate for injustices of the past, he decided to make reparations to the poor by manipulating the banking industry in favor of the poor and blacks (African Americans). That sounds so Christian and noble, doesn't it?? I suspect he thought he was climbing the stairway to heaven and the Community Reinvestment Act was a big step on that stairway.

Ironically, Mr. Carter can now be known as the father of the banking crisis that has taken down the mortgage industry, the banking industry, the middle class, businesses all over the country, and....most ironic of all...causing people to lose their homes all over the country. One man's convoluted sense of good intentions has paved the road to hell for a whole lot of Americans.

If I don't give him the benefit of the doubt, I go to another possibility..that it was merely a political scheme to get votes from minorities of the day. If I were guessing, I'd say it was a combination of both, 10% nobility, 90% political motivation.

Below are some quotes grabbed from other internet sources on the subject. You can research this yourself by doing a google search on Jimmy Carter Community Reinvestment Act. There is so much more to it...adding in Bill Clinton who walked in and strengthened the government's force on the banking industry, which put the pedal to the metal and sped up the process to hell. You can also find out how Acorn...Obama's favorite Community Organization Group is tied to this diabolical scheme that has bankrupted our country.

from: Jeffrey Kempe
"Born under Jimmy Carter in 1977, [Wikipedia here]< the intent was to end the practice of redlining, in which banks allegedly were not lending in certain neighborhoods. It was revised in 1995 under Bill Clinton, with provisions added that would force banks to meet certain goals of low-income lending. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were required to meet goals of their own in buying the high risk paper – less of a risk to the executives of those companies since their bonus was predicated on the profit that high risk brings - while the burden of any loss would be borne by the: taxpayer.

In 2004/2005 Republicans in the Congress saw red flags, and tried to apply stricter oversight to both Fannie and Freddie. Democrats objected, and nothing was ever done.
"

from:Yaron Brook at Forbes.com: (tried to create a link, but couldn't)

"There has been no free market in housing or finance. Government has long exercised massive control over the housing and financial markets--including its creation of Fannie Mae (nyse: FNM - news - people ) and Freddie Mac (nyse: FRE - news - people ) (which have now amassed $5 trillion in liabilities)--leading to many of the problems being blamed on the free market today.

Consider the low lending standards that were a significant component of the mortgage crisis. Lenders made millions of loans to borrowers who, under normal market conditions, weren't able to pay them off. These decisions have cost lenders, especially leading financial institutions, tens of billions of dollars.

The government has promoted bad loans not just through the stick of the CRA but through the carrot of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which purchase, securitize and guarantee loans made by lenders and whose debt is itself implicitly guaranteed by the federal government.

That's you and me, folks....the government...us...our money guaranteeing Jimmy Carter's road to hell....or was it heaven....or was it his heaven and our hell?? As I write this today, Jimmy Carter is in Communist China. Wonder what he's doing there.....hmmmmm..
